• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... If you leave the mirror control on the driver's armrest in either the left or right position, the mirror is supposed to tilt down when you are backing in reverse. Is that what you're asking about? If so, just put it in the middle position and it will stop doing it.

I do not believe it is supposed to do that on the EX model. Also, the drivers side does not do that.

If you have the right package, putting the truck into reverse when the mirror switch is in the L or R position will move the mirrors.

With the truck in reverse, you can set the position of the mirrors for reversing using the usual mirror controls. When you get it where you want, save the settings. After that, each time you put it into reverse (with the mirror switch in L or R), the mirrors move to your preset location.

So, what the OP might be seeing (if they have the package and it's not something else) is that someone set the driver's mirrors to the normal position when in reverse (and saved it) so it won't move.

2024 Kia Telluride here - less than 1000 miles - Since it was new - we have not been able to get the right side mirror to keep a setting. You set it and save - reverse or go forward, and it tilts down - even in middle position.
