  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi - We're about to pull the trigger on a 2025 Telluride. We're replacing a 2007 Q7 with 180k miles on it that's reached a point where it's not worth sinking any more money into it. Our other car is a 2019 VW Alltrack (Golf Wagon) that is my wife's daily driver. We have a daughter and a dog. Our favorite activity is to ski so we wanted a car that was AWD. The Alltrack works for a ski weekend for just the three of us with our skis overhead in a Yakima SkyBox but too cramped to bring the dog or a friend. So, after some research the Telluride piqued my curiosity and this past weekend we checked out an EX and put a deposit down on it. It has AWD and Captain's chairs in the second row which excites my daughter and I am excited for the cooling seats!

Since I don't anticipate towing a camper or boat any time soon, we did not opt for any tow capabilities (X-Line, X-Pro or even leveling suspension option). Was that a wise move? I typically find a car I like and keep it for a long time.

I think this was a wise choice choosing the Telluride.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. Congratulations on the brand new Telluride! When are you planning on picking it up? It sounds like you got a lot of good use out of the Audi Q7 - but it can be quite expensive to maintain over the years - especially after the warranty expires. The Telluride will fare better. It's got a huge following and for good reason. I do believe you made an excellent choice...

We decided to go for a 2025 SX X-Line. I am really excited! We should get it middle of next week hopefully.

Awesome! Post pictures when you can. If it were me, I'd have already taken a bunch at the dealership. :p

The car salesman I worked with found the color combo I wanted and drove to NH to get the car for me. I picked it up last night, I will post pictures later, but busy week this week between work and family. Psyched for my new ride!
