Hi - We're about to pull the trigger on a 2025 Telluride. We're replacing a 2007 Q7 with 180k miles on it that's reached a point where it's not worth sinking any more money into it. Our other car is a 2019 VW Alltrack (Golf Wagon) that is my wife's daily driver. We have a daughter and a dog. Our favorite activity is to ski so we wanted a car that was AWD. The Alltrack works for a ski weekend for just the three of us with our skis overhead in a Yakima SkyBox but too cramped to bring the dog or a friend. So, after some research the Telluride piqued my curiosity and this past weekend we checked out an EX and put a deposit down on it. It has AWD and Captain's chairs in the second row which excites my daughter and I am excited for the cooling seats!
Since I don't anticipate towing a camper or boat any time soon, we did not opt for any tow capabilities (X-Line, X-Pro or even leveling suspension option). Was that a wise move? I typically find a car I like and keep it for a long time.
I think this was a wise choice choosing the Telluride.
