• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey everyone! Just brought home a '25 Telluride SX-Prestige with the Terracotta Nappa leather. Absolutely in love with it, but my two young kids are already making me nervous. What's everyone using to keep their interiors looking new? Specifically looking for advice on the Nappa leather and the dashboard. TIA!

Congrats on your new Telluride. First rule of Telluride ownership with kids: invest in good all-weather floor mats and seat protectors for under the car seats. WeatherTech and TuxMat are popular choices and worth every penny. For the Nappa leather, a simple approach is best. A high-quality microfiber towel slightly dampened with water can handle most daily wipe-downs.

This is solid advice. For a deeper clean on the Nappa, I'd recommend a dedicated leather cleaner that's pH-balanced. I personally use Gyeon's Mild Leather Cleaner. It's gentle and doesn't leave a greasy finish. Stay away from a lot of the all-in-one "conditioner" wipes you find at auto parts stores; they can leave a weird film. For the dashboard and other plastics, P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner is fantastic. You can dilute it, it's not shiny, and it has a clean scent.

Seconding the P&S Xpress! It’s a lifesaver for all the sticky fingerprints. For those unexpected spills (and there will be many), I keep a small "emergency kit" in the back: a roll of paper towels, a bottle of water, and a travel-size Folex for any fabric stains. Has saved my carpets more than once! Also, a handheld vacuum that lives in the car is a non-negotiable for me.

Thank you, everyone! Has anyone found a good solution for the piano black trim around the gear selector? That stuff scratches just by looking at it! I've been using a very soft microfiber cloth and a bit of spray detailer, but I'm wondering if there's a way to protect it long-term.

The piano black is tough. Some people have had success with pre-cut paint protection film (PPF) kits for that specific area. It’s a bit of an investment, but it will definitely prevent those micro-scratches. Otherwise, your current method is the best way to maintain it. The key is to use a very high-quality, plush microfiber to lift dust, not drag it across the surface.

Thank you, again. :) This is all amazing information, thank you so much, everyone! I've already ordered some microfiber towels and the P&S Xpress. Going to look into the Gyeon leather cleaner as well. I feel much more prepared to keep this beautiful interior looking its best. Glad to be a part of this community!

I use the Griot's detailing products. They may be a little more professional than what you're used to. I have the same Terracotta Nappa interior and use the following products:
  • Interior cleaner
  • Leather 3-in-1 spray
  • Dual weave interior towels
I just spray the products on one of the towels, wipe everything down and wipe it dry with another towel. I've had my Telluride for 1.5 years and it looks brand new inside. I had 3 grandsons for a week and we went on a trip together going to beaches and on multiple hikes. The cars was really dirty afterwards, but cleaned it all up in just over an hour.
