I put a 1000 deposit down on my SX prestige loaded as I wanted it from dealership in GA. Got it in under 3 months with no extra charges. Had to drive from VA to pick it up but well worth it!!Right, my other option is to wait 6 more months ... this may be what i in fact end up doing.
How about under MSRP with the Costco Auto Program? We can order one today. How much over MSRP is reasonable? The dealer quoted me $53k.
How about buying from a non-local dealer and having it shipped to Cali? Does that make sense?
Thanks in advance,

I'd love to see a Costco price work sheet from a dealer on the Telluride. Costco Auto insists that they do not have a program in place for this car anywhere in the country, nor will they for the foreseeable future. If that's incorrect, I would sure like to be able to call them on it. A northern California dealer printed out the Costco deal page for all Kias yesterday and showed it to me. TheTelluride was not on it.
By the way, I'm not saying I don't believe those that say they have gotten something called a Costco deal on the Telluride. If correct though, I would sure like to be able to take advantage of one myself. BTW, Costco Auto said their deals needed to be shown on their worksheets, whatever that might actually mean.

I was able to get Costco pricing and a Costco worksheet for the Telluride, but I'm not sure it is available in all geographic areas in the US. Looks like Northern California does not have any dealerships that offer the pricing for the Telluride (just tried online with a 94118 area code for SF). But in the Midwest, there is one participating Kia dealership in the western Chicago suburbs, and many people on this forum recommend Kia of Muncie in Indiana for Costco pricing (and then getting the Telluride shipped from IN).
Muncie, IndianaJason, where are you located please?
