Order to delivery time

I ordered a dark moss SX-P with dune brown seats and tow package on May 2 and it arrived today, 126 days later. Picked it up this evening and love it so far!

Ordered black on black SX Prestige on 07/25. Since it's been 3 weeks, I called the sales manager for an update this morning. Estimated delivery is 10/14.

I spoke with the internet sales manager this morning. He said my order has been accepted and is being built. However, the ETA of 10/14 is showing as unchanged. I’m thinking if it shows up anywhere +/- 2 weeks from the ETA I’d be really happy. Definitely not getting my hopes up for an early or even on time delivery though.

I've been by there but have never shopped Cronin before. The way things have gone lately, they seem like the best dealer around now... Wyler is charging 10K over on SX's, Superior is a bait and switch dealer..so sounds like you made a good choice. You from around that area?.. Fairfield Township here.

I live in Liberty Twp and recently retired from Cincinnati Financial. I had talked to a dealership in Marietta, GA (my sister lives there) and they said they were priced at sticker PLUS dealer add ons. I asked about them (one was flashing brake lights) and was told that they are all installed on every Telluride from off the truck. Then when I asked how much extra all these little niceties would cost, I was told 'about $5k' at which point I said 'goodbye'.

Ordered mine (Ebony Black, Black Interior, SX) on 5/27. The first vehicle was delivered on 7/4 with the wrong interior color (Butterscotch). 2nd one came in yesterday with the SAME WRONG interior color! I couldn’t believe it. The dealer was apologetic & worked to make it up to me. They ended up paying for all of the options I originally asked for (interior lighting, illuminated skid plates, carpets, & mud flaps) and the vehicle had a tow package I didn’t ask for so they covered the cost of that. With the rebates & the stink my husband put up got the car for $44,500 with the butterscotch interior.

You must be over 35 or 40! LOL It is the dealership bosses, not the individual sales people.

Hi Everyone!! We are waiting on ours as well. SX w/o prestige in Dark Moss with Butter Scotch interior. Only extra was mud flaps. Only place we've seen this combo was on instagram at a Puerto Rico dealership!! We ordered it July 27th $500 deposit. We are at 6.5 weeks. Dealer called and said Kia confirmed the order on 8/27. How much longer do you think we will be waiting? When do you get a VIN#?

I ordered same package as you except no mud-flaps and ordered with AWD. From time I ordered in May to recently getting my ETA it will he over 150 days, so you have a while to wait......

Well, we are practically neighbors then. I ended up ordering from Kia of Muncie to get costco pricing. It's about a 2.5 hour drive, s not too bad.

Question: Can an order be cancelled and redone within the first 5 days or so? I didn't know there was an interior light kit available, mud guards, cargo tray, scuff plate lights, etc. All are either not available as dealer add on, or they are way more expensive than if ordered with the car. Sales didn't ask me about them.

i got my $1000 back. my 9/2 delivery date came and went and they told me they understood if I didn't want to wait anymore. I'm moving on and getting a Palisade.

Limited only. My difficulty lies in getting an AWD. Here in the south they are few and far between. I almost have to not be picky on the exterior color if I want one, but none of the other dealers want to trade with mine. We may move to Michigan in a few years if my step-daughter gets accepted to Michigan after her graduation. I don't want to be stuck without AWD up there in the winter, but I'm almost of the mind to say F it and just settle for the FWD.

Ordered our AWD S July 30th with a 8-12 week timeline. Its been 6 weeks and crickets from the dealership. Anytime I ask, immediate response is no news yet. Can any Kia Dealership lookup my order or do i have to keep dealing with my salesperson for information?

I ordered mine last week and no salesman told me about the optional accessories that could be added (and which, if they can be dealer installed, cost more from dealer than from factory). Now, I asked if those could be added, and they tell me the order cannot be changed even 5 days later? Come on. I did not put down deposit and really want to stay at this dealer (others are not so good and require deposit). They make us wait 4 months, but after 5 days, the order cannot be cancelled, redone, or modified? Bull I say!

Something doesn't smell right here...KIA requires a deposit before a dealer can place a special order. Dealer has to send KIA the order and proof of deposit before KIA will accept the order. This keeps dealers from just randomly ordering and calling them sold orders to get more allotment. KIA got wise to that game and started requiring proof it's sold so something really doesn't sound right about this. Plus 4 months for delivery? Sure smells funny to me.
