Order to delivery time

I'm at week 14 waiting on a white SX with black interior.
 
Actually, I just got a call that our Telluride is on a train and I may be able to pick it up at the end of the week. If not, definitely next week.

I ordered the same thing but I'm just about 10 weeks out. Got the VIN last week and it showed up on the dealer's website this past Friday. Hoping it's here in the next week or two!
 
I received word today from dealership that my Snow White Pearl S model with black interior has finally hit production....77 days since order was placed!

My dealer and their managers are such dumb fuckers. I'm going there to get my deposit back. I'm done for this shit. Their laziness doesn't deserve my money and markup.

It's not only about waiting man. Plus it has been 9 weeks. It's the way they do their job and the poor communication. I'm just over it.

I see. Yeah, that's Kia's fault really. I didn't have ANY communication from my dealership - until I asked about a month before delivery - and then they told me a delivery date. Then it arrived a couple of weeks early and they called me... but I also saw it pop up on cars.com.

Thank you for understanding. I'm starting it again from another dealer who has been helping me way better. So here I go again lol
 
Here are some pics of White SX with Espresso brown interior. The brown is little darker than what the pictures show. The interior is mostly brown with a little black accents.
This color combo is very nice - thanks for posting pics. Something different from all black! It appears that Kia may have (temporarily?) suspended this manufacturing option... based on their online configurator and anecdotes about not being able to order the espresso interior. Hopefully it doesn't disappear. Where are you located? I haven't seen any of these being delivered in the continental US.

I am in southeast Louisiana. The espresso brown interior is only available in non prestige SX white, black and moss green. We are very happy with the color combination.
 
Originally ordered 7/15, Dark Moss SX AWD but Prestige Package was not available. Kept order active until dealer, Kia of Canton, reordered 7/25. Dark Moss, Prestige Dune Brown, AWD, Towing, and everything but cross bars. Dealer then cancelled the original order. Order accepted late August.

Was in for oil change on our FWD SX (no prestige) today and got the VIN and estimated arrival of 10/14 for our order. This will be my wife's car, so she is happy. We ordered the side steps but apparently not a factory installed option any more, but not a big deal as we don't have on our Ebony SX either and not sure we really need them.

We just placed an order today 9/24/19 for an EX FWD Moss/Gray with Kia of Muncie. We got our Costco pricing and am planning for the 3 month wait. But, hoping for less. We live in Florida and were tired of the Florida Dealership price augmentation down here. We will take a $100 or less flight to save $4k-$10k. We wouldn't have really thought about it until we found this forum. Thank you for the recommendations.

Just got a message from a dealer we were in touch with in El Paso, TX saying they have a white SX-P with dune brown interior if anyone is interested and in the area. It’s just not the exterior color I’m looking for. Still holding out on my moss green/dune brown SX-P I ordered on 7/25. Just thought I’d share! Casa Kia in El Paso.

Just wanted to throw my hat into the ring on countdown days. I have yet to hear anything from the dealer and didn't know how proactive I should be on contacting them to find out more info. My hubby doesn't think I should bug too much, but I'm so excited for this car (in the past 12 years, I have only driven mini vans) and am very excited for my non-mom-mobile.

Have any of you had better luck, one way or the other? Does pestering work or does it ultimately get you no where?

A good dealer will reach out to you as soon as they get updates. Bad ones won't. Bugging them won't get results faster, but will make sure you don't miss any status changes. I would reach out every month or so, just to stay in touch. Maybe more often closer to delivery, once you have an estimated date, but only if you don't trust your dealer to contact you first.
