• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi guys my 2020 Palisade HTRAC Limited started doing the dreaded vibration at 65-75 mph. This problem has been discussed extensively on the Palisade forum and the Kia Telluride Forum. Well, I took my car into the dealer today (Teton Hyundai in Pocatello Idaho) and they checked the balance of my tires (which were fine), immediately pulled up the TSB and ordered the parts and agreed to change the rear propeller shaft and awd coupling assembly no questions asked. They didn't even test drive the car, they just took my word for it. They are truly a superb dealership. They will call me with an estimate of timing for parts availability and they let me take a picture of the actual TSB bulletin so that I can post it on the forums. Show this to your dealerships, the TSB just came out. Good luck! 20191024_150051-1.jpg

I wonder if the same manufacturing time frame applies to KT.

Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for sharing! Hopefully, we'll be seeing one for the Telluride as well. I have a build date of July 25 for my SX AWD and am experiencing the vibration.

Do all the ones with the problems on here have one built in that date range? Mine doesn't have the problem and is outside that date range.

Yea...Very interesting that they identified a build date range. I have an early March EX AWD with no issue.
They might not have started building the Palisade until April 10.

Not an expert, but I imagine this is an “easy fix” - just a few bolts and 30 minutes of time.

I shared this TSB with my dealer and also called Kia. My vehicle has been in the shop for the last week with the same description "vibration at highway speeds." The service tech checked the balance of my tires (which were fine), but he is now just waiting to hear from Kia what to do next. When I called Kia the notes said to replace one of the tires which I find unbelievable.

Ok, so today the tires were checked again and one found out of balance. I just learned that if the tire and wheel combination isn't balanced, being off even an ounce or two can cause vibration at highway speeds (Road Force Balance). So, since this wasn't an issue for the first several thousand miles I'll give it a shot as long as they test it and the vibration is completely gone.

This this fixed your problem just wondering. Im having the same situation on mine and just purchased it 1 week ago. I took it twice and balance the tires I called them and let them know and they said to take it back.

I personally find it encouraging that Hyundai is being so proactive. All companies have problems with their products. The good ones fix them without giving the customer a lot of BS.

An update: immediately after Road force balance there was no improvement and vibration is still there. Dealer asked to bring it back in but I had several road trips.
