Order to delivery time

I ordered White over Dune with tow as well on 9/28. Seemed to be a popular combo according to the build info published in one of the other threads so hopefully it won't be too much longer. I'm not in a huge rush but I do feel for those who are.

A customer of ours will fly in Thursday to get his. The black headliner with this combo is awesome.

Even though I hate having to wait so long for mine,I honestly think it will be worth it.I have looked the Telluride up so much that compared to other SUVs in its class,it just
looks much more classy and pretty and at least for me,it actually excites me,unlike purchasing any other vehicle(except Luxury which I couldn't afford) and why pay more for a Luxury Brand when
you get a lot of that in the Telluride at a cheaper price.
Oh, I agree totally. And it will be well worth the wait especially to get exactly what you desire!

Nice! The wife really wanted Everlasting Silver, but neither of us wanted another black cockpit. It HAD to be Dune brown!

The main reason I'm looking forward to an ETA date is so I'll know when to book my flight! 🛫

I ordered a white SXP with dune seats on 4/16 and got my car on 9/3. 4.5 months, but the car really is worth it. My family has put almost 4.5k miles in less than 2 months and we are loving it. The car is really comfortable whether you sit in the front or the back and every guest thats sat in the car raves about it as well.
I've had nice cars before but this one (probably because of how few there are on the road) get raves just on the exterior alone. When people see the bells and whistles inside they're shocked how nice it is.

This thing Is a KIA? Lol! Awesome.

That's what I ordered as well; White SXP Dune Brown. Ordered on Sep 14 from Kia of Muncie, but still haven't heard anything. I'm very anxious, the anticipation is killing me. Ya know?
I too ordered a white dune sxp awd tow a few days before you on Sept 3.
Haven't heard a thing. No news is bad news I guess

I could be wrong but it seems to me like wait times are going down. Maybe they're catching up? What was 4-5 months or more earlier this year seems to be more like 2-3 month's now.

SX-P I'd say going up. I base this on a ouija board, a rabbits foot and a penny I found on our lot. No science to any of this but it does look like if you want an SX FWD they are getting you taken care of sooner than later.

Lol! Well now that I have mine, I can say it's worth waiting any amount of time. It's my wife's daily driver, but I kind of wish she would take my BMW and let me have it! 😏

You guys got my SX-P in 2 months :0..I still think it's just up to the Kia gods.

Just hit two months today on my SX FWD order. Here's my guess on 'the science'. When you order from an honest dealer who's taking a lot of orders you have to wait longer as their non-sold-older allocation is less. If you sell out and pay a premium to a greedy dealer, you have a better shot at getting one via their allocation because no one is pre-ordering with them and their cars sit on the lot longer to wait for for a 'fish' as well.

I have two local dealers that are getting my car in about a month. Neither is meeting the reasonable terms my current dealer is offering when I ask...and I swear, I'm doing nothing to reverse engineer dealer allocation to make this less-than-scientific guess or to figure out who's getting what and when :)...and the dealer with my order is still waiting to be invoiced :(

The more vehicles a dealer sells would increase their allocation. If a vehicle sits on a lot (such as at KIA in Norwood, MA) then the longer time it will be before they get more vehicles. Those that have a $5K $10K or more markup I would think they stay on the lot longer because people are turned off and walk away - so that vehicle goes unsold longer slowing the rate of turnover for that dealer. OR what Jason said, it’s up to the KIA gods.

My chosen Kia dealer has never had a Telluride on the lot..but they're averaging a sold Telluride every 2 days. My number just hasn't been picked yet and so off I go to the Kia gods I suppose...

We need to sacrifice a bad KIA dealer to the KIA gods.
LMAO!

I would just like to know how many have been produced to date?
Are the numbers on the VIN an indicator of how many have been made so far?

There's a thread where a member has posted detailed charts every month or so with production numbers. It's only for US models though (based on window stickers) so I'm not sure there there's a way to know the total produced for global markets.
