• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... That's a paint protector film, correct? How much are they charging? It's not a bad idea but that all depends on the price. Like WestCoastTelly said, you could do it yourself for a much lower price. Or, you could have somebody else do it - potentially for less... I just wonder what they're charging. It IS a service and a product - so there's naturally going to be a cost...

No, I don't think it's a film. I had a clear bra on my Audi A4 and won't do that again because if it gets scratched or nicked, it looks terrible and you have to replace the whole piece to fix it. This is some type of sealant or something but they also guarantee it from damage due to certain elements like tree sap, acid rain and other stuff that can happen to the paint. I think it was around $300.00. I just spoke to someone and he suggested using the Ceramic Pro. It costs a lot more, around $1300 for a 5 year protection but I've heard great things about it.

I personally do not purchase it anymore. After talking to several Auto Detail shops they say that it really is just a warranty and not a true quality protectant. You might call around to a few of your local auto detail shops and get pricing for Ceramic Pro or some other products for the exterior and they can usually provide a leather protectant and fabric protectant for the carpet that is much higher quality than what the dealership is going to sell you.

I agree, they said it could be applied in like 15-20 minutes so there is no way they are really doing much. I am going to pass and probably go with the Ceramic Pro which has a 5 year coverage warranty with it.
