I'm seldom in my Telly long enough to make it worthwhile to plug in my phone and connect with Android Auto. But I do keep a music thumb drive plugged in to the data port. BTW, I use a mini-thumb drive that only sticks up about 1/4 inch. So no interference with the wireless charger space and no interference with my wide base coffee mug.
My music thumb drive will be recognized by the system for only a few trips. Then for some reason the system has no knowledge of it. To play my tunes, I need to unplug the thumb drive and
reinsert it. I'm good to go for another couple of trips until the system again loses it.
Two questions, why does recognition of the thumb drive disappear, and can I get it recognized without unplugging the drive?
