• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does the Telluride have running boards or sidesteps for easy entry?

Here you go, sorry for bad angle. I took it this morning while running to work.
Thank you for posting this picture. We also have the black SX and I was wondering what they looked like installed. I was considering waiting until someone makes an aftermarket black tube style step with the right brackets to fit the Telluride but these actually look pretty nice on the black vehicle. Very helpful.

I was told in November that they had just added the side boards as a accessory. I went to price them at a dealer in Kansas City and they were gong to charge almost $1200.00 to add them. I thought that was too high. If you can get the two for $690.00 than I would not have a problem paying that but I will not pay $1200.00 for them.
Saw this on another post.

Here are some more photos with side steps. They look really cool.

$1200?!
That is like more than double the price of I have paid for mine.

Try Lawrence Kia.... I bought my Stinger there, and have an SXP on order. They are pretty easy to work with and very fair.

I am considering adding these ......I think they do look good, key question: do they actually make a difference for the person getting in or out??

No, from what I have heard on a dozen or so suv forums, they only dirty up your pant leg while getting in or out. But this is just what I have heard... on a dozen or so suv forums. So you make the call.

Making difference in terms of what?

My mother loves it, now its easy for her to get in/out the car.

Well...essentially you have answered the question.......wife and I are mid 70's and getting in and out is not as easy as it used to be!

Go for it, as for this reason, and actually it makes the car look much better.

Love these! I have placed an order for a white sx prestige and added the side steps to my order. They said I couldn't add splash guards as they would interfere with the side steps. I see in your picture that you have splash guards too. I really want splash guards with the side steps. Any suggestions?

Hi! Had my side steps aka "running boards" installed today.....they are very high quality and are indeed a help in getting in and out! While the previous pics that were posted seem to show the "splash guards" in place....I was told by my dealer that the splash guards and the steps would not "fit comfortably" ......and if you look carefully.... particularly at the front end, the splash guards on that vehicle are only extending about what looks like an inch or so beyond the fender metal.......not enough to make a difference regarding splash stuff on the boards. In the end .....the boards are worth it and I willing to clean off the "winter muck!"

Anyone have photo of side boards showing with mud guards from the back side view. That shows the rear wheel mud guards also. Just wanted to see the whole look and consider adding to order.

This is my SX P with the running boards just installed this week.....I indicated that I would like the "splash guards" as well, but they said that the installation of the running boards does not allow for the installation of the factory "splash guards"....perhaps there is some after market ones that will work.
