• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does the Telluride have running boards or sidesteps for easy entry?

Consider me sold on the wingstep... now if I can find someone to put it on.

The instructions are in korean but the pictures are enough to get the job done

I contacted them as well... they quoted me "The 1set powered auto step is USD850.00/set And shipping cost is USD280.00 via DHL Courier"; so $70 more that you...
They also said the qty order to lower price and/or offer different color LED would be 30 sets...

Did get the instructions in English for anyone interested... they indicated "Sending the install manual The Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride is same install"

If you go to this site and register as a new customer, you get free shipping and another $80 off for being a new customer to their site. With those discounts, it puts you around $670 total...

The momoreal ones are better than the wingstep. Wingstep is an off brand to to the momoreal brand.

momoreal also tie into canbus with three wires only which means the led color changes to turn signal color, drl lights, and brake lights.

wingstep only has daytime lights and run to the panel.

if anyone is going to do the mod, go with momoreal. Quality is a lot better. It cost in us $1182 with cost of part and shipping total.

you can order them with PayPal by sending an email to the seller: kspeedmotor@gmail.com

it’s not a scam. You can find them on eBay and Amazon. Plus you are using PayPal for safety reasons.

The palisade and telluride will be the same steps as they are sisters. Same install and everything

this is how they come in boxes and here is the instructions. If you can convert from Korean to English that would be good:http://momoreal.com/down/guide-pa.pdf

I’m still working on getting English instructions but it’s pretty straight forward install

this is from a member I talked with who posted his install of the momoreal . You tap into 3 wires on the canbus lines. The harness that’s beside the driver seat under the carpet

Looks like the shop is in Texas.... any idea where?

no I do not. However , if you have a weekend alone, you can definitely do this with car ramps . It’s not really that hard. You have to drill a total of two holes and the others are already made for you . The wiring is very simple also

watch the video a few times and you’ll see how it’s done. It took me 7 times to watch to fully understand everything. Make sure you disconnect the battery before doing any work as you don’t want to cause a short wiring stuff together. Once you are confident with the wiring, and everything done, plug the battery in and test the steps

guys,
What is the width of the OEM Kia Telluride Side Steps (S9H37AP000)?
If I take a non-OEM, which brand would you recommend?

they are similar to the install of the wingstep but offer the turn signal, brake light, and drl lights on it as the wingstep only offers drl lights.

Thanks for sharing the comparison of the two auto side steps.
So with shipping included it’s only a difference of $52 (wingstep: $1130/momoreal: $1182)
My opinion, for value for money, the wing steps are plenty good. I wouldn’t spend additional just for the light show. The one led color seems more elegant and the multi colored flashing seems cheap and gimmicky.
To each their own.

They just sent me this to install it:

How to video
Too much work without a car lift to DIY. Why not just put the fixed ones? They look cool and cost $300-400. I had DIYed them on my Sorento.

Watch your step 🤩
Hi Rob,
Nice pic. I just got my installed as well. I was wondering, are you able to disable the power step with the smart key? The wiring part of the instructions were completely off for my 2021 telluride.
Thx

I just ordered my Wingsteps from Mr Shin. Looking forward to getting them in and finding someone to install them!

Dec 1? 🤔 I guess you looked at the date when it was posted. Although it was Dec 2 😅

I posted this, and this is my car.
The mud guards came in with the car.
@Humaid , could you post a picture of the area where the front mud guard meets the running board. Trying to see how the fit works or if there was any trimming or modifications to fit the board and mud guard.

Just to follow up: Upon asking, Mr Shin emailed me the English language installation instructions. My Kia Dealership service department took a look at the manual and agreed to do the job for 2-3 hours of labor. And they said that because they are doing the work, if there's a problem with electronics down the road, they'd be able to help me out (whatever that means--hope I don't have to find out).

I’ve towed with a similar SUV and found it pretty manageable with the right trailer. We rented a few trailers through RVShare last summer and had a great experience.

For a good balance of comfort and towing ease, you might want to look for lightweight models that are well within your Telluride's towing capacity.
