• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Aftermarket badge for Telluride?

sometimes they have positioning pins and are adhered with 3m double side auto tape , but honestly I've never heard of lettering being bolted on . Most lettering is just stuck on using placement stencils ( BMW , Audi , MB etc ) someone will try to debadge and confirm I'm sure

I took the trunk paneling off and that’s what reveled the bolts. They weren’t like tiny little prongs. They were full on bolts with nuts. I wouldn’t put it past kia since the CEO is tired of people being ashamed of driven a Kia and always taking stuff off the car. But I’ve never heard of that either. But sure enough there are 9 bolts behind the trunk paneling. Bc I thought the first one I saw was for the emblem, like most cars do.

most people who swap badges aren't doing it because they're ashamed of driving a kia. they're ashamed of the horrendously boring logo. swapping a badge doesn't turn the car into something else. especially when they're swapping the badge with a k, which pretty much only leads to kia.

Picked up my Moss Green SX AWD last night after FINALLY finding one where the dealer wasn’t gouging! And less than 24 hours later placed my badge order. Now just need to find license plate holders (are these coming as well? 😊).

Keep up the good work Sal. This forum was very helpful for me to make my decision to buy a Telluride!!

Thank you very much! Please let me know if you did not receive your tracking number via email. The package is on it's way to the post office. Please keep in mind that the tracking website is not updated until the second time the package is scanned... Thank you very much for your support!

I don't care it is a kia. But it looks god awful with the name bolted on the front and back. I hated it on the ranger rover and I hate it on the telluride. I don't mine kia, I just hate they have to disfigure a car to make sure people know it is them.

Did you notice if the SX and AWD was bolted on? I always debage every car.

I have the SX. But not SX AWD. I would imagine it’s the same.

Sorry was not clear. Was wondering if the badges "SX" and badge "AWD" where bolted on. Can I remove the badges "SX" with out dealing with bolts.

Oh, no they are not. You can take those off. I most likely will, but my wife likes them 🙄

I don't know what the bolts was attached to but it appears it does not go to the lettering. The lettering can be removed, it is just attached by adhesive.

Yeah I removed the old badges. Was easy. Credit card and some goo gone. Front emblem was easy. The only one that kinda sucked was the steering wheel, it’s got like 6 tabs that need to be removed. Looks IMO better than the overlays.
