If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Bad Dealer Dealings - List Your Bad Dealer Experience

it was for purchase. I normally don't negotiate like this, but because of the high demand and mark-ups I really didn't have much choice but to basically say make it work if you want to sell the car. Normally the way I negotiate is I email several dealers with the car I want and just let them keep competing until I have the lowest price. Bought my last 3 cars like that and got great deals. But because the Telluride is in such high demand and the model I wanted wasn't readily available it took away that tactic.

I will say I emailed Jason and he was great replied within the day twice and had an offer and everything worked out. The only reason we didn't go that way was that his associate said the wait might be awhile and I wanted to get this for my wife's Christmas present.

I will add we didn't call them out of the lies because we placed an order for what we wanted, but that again caused issues. Sarah and Joel both said how ordering wasn't smart right now because they can't say when the car comes in. They both said separately that if Kia starts to build the 2021s that all 2020 orders are erased and would have to start all over again. More lies.

Those 3 killed any chance of me wanting to buy a Kia. I will also add dealers tend to hound customers, not a single message from anyone at that dealership. cowards.

Orders start all over again. Lol. KIA would have an absolute SH** Storm. Where people get this is beyond me.

yeah I could see people falling for it. But I knew it was more BS. I would be willing to bet that my "order" didn't go anywhere.

I had a dealer try to go the 4 square method on me. Have not seen that since the 90's. He slid the paper over to me and I folded it up like a paper airplane and threw it in the middle of the show room. I said no 4 square, I wish someone would have taken a picture of his expression. It threw him so far off his script he looked like a turtle on its shell. Needles to say it went nowhere.

I am amazed how many Kia dealerships operate like a used car lot trying to sell new cars.

10k more than MSRP. Seriously. We'll "Look into it" Total BS.

BTW is Jason's Screenshot_20191208-095122.jpgdealership partnered with USAA?

This bad review is more from a service standpoint than sales although the were marking up their Tellurides 5K for SX's and 3K for the others. We had to stop at Matthews Kia of Cartersville because we got a small piece of metal in our tire that caused a leak. Well the piece was about a half inch if that shaped like a pizza slice with the widest point which was at the top of the tread (visible) so the slice in the tire might have been an 1/8th inch if that. We got there at 8:50 A.M. and they opened at 9:00. Well, about an hour later the service advisor says their tire tech said the hole was too big and he wasn't sure if it could be repaired..I told them no, just try and do his best. Next service advisor comes back 30 minutes later and says the side of the tire might have been damaged too much to balance correctly? I said tell him to do his best and I'll find a tire store around to give me a second opinion. Finally 30 minutes later, it's done and charged me $30 to patch a tire. I would avoid this place at all cost.

Oh wow.I hope dealers like that go out of business. That's just insane

Was driving through Montgomery, Alabama and stopped by Brewbaker Motors KIA. The sales guy said the Tellurides have a price "addendum" (actually, ALL of their vehicles, non-Tellurides included, have an "addendum"). The markup on the addendum sticker for an SX was $2895, but he told me it was actually $3295. He then told me it was the "lowest addendum in the area! The dealership in Auburn is charging five thousand."

😳

To be fair, looking at the window sticker, that addendum price includes "PCP". I'll just assume that being under the influence of PCP is necessary before you'd agree to that price

Also seems a little misleading to the consumer that they're trying to make this look like a Kia sponsored addendum. Logos are huge, and they're trying to make it look similar to how the monroney looks only smaller. Also, what is PDI Kit (usually that means pre-delivery inspection), and PCP? Using acronyms is also probably not allowed. Generally when I've seen ADM and/or BS items added, it's literally an add on piece of paper printed off someones regular black and white printer and easy to tell it's the dealer tacking on junk.

Wonder if the attorney generals office down there would care since this is all purposely misleading to the consumer?

This is what a dealership in LA came with today then I replied he was crazy and sent him number I liked and he told me we ar not far off if you put 10k down then I can get ur payment to 528 lol I said only 10 k well have a nice day hahaha uncle
