I live in the DC area. On Tuesday night I was randomly checking inventory of dealerships within a 3-5 hour drive. I noticed a white SXP come up on the dealer’s website (Abeloff Kia in Stroudsburg, PA), but figured it was already sold, as is most often the case. I still sent an online information request. The contact person from the dealership texted me on Wednesday morning to let me know it was still available. By 2:30 pm on Wednesday, we’d agreed on a trade in value for my minivan, and I’d given them a $500 deposit. All communication other than calling to give my credit card number was done over text. Price was MSRP (sticker price before the increase), minus $1,000 Kia financing rebate. I picked it up this evening. ~4 hour drive each way. I still can’t believe how quick and painless the process was. And even I’m even more surprised that I found the exact Telluride I wanted, by dumb luck!!
