  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I live in the DC area. On Tuesday night I was randomly checking inventory of dealerships within a 3-5 hour drive. I noticed a white SXP come up on the dealer’s website (Abeloff Kia in Stroudsburg, PA), but figured it was already sold, as is most often the case. I still sent an online information request. The contact person from the dealership texted me on Wednesday morning to let me know it was still available. By 2:30 pm on Wednesday, we’d agreed on a trade in value for my minivan, and I’d given them a $500 deposit. All communication other than calling to give my credit card number was done over text. Price was MSRP (sticker price before the increase), minus $1,000 Kia financing rebate. I picked it up this evening. ~4 hour drive each way. I still can’t believe how quick and painless the process was. And even I’m even more surprised that I found the exact Telluride I wanted, by dumb luck!!

So if you finance through Kia there's an additional $1000 off the price? At the end of the day it sounds like you got it for $1675 or so off.

CONGRATS! But your thread is worthless without pics! :devilish: ;)

Awesome. Stroudsburg is only about 2 hrs and some change from me and that's the car I ordered! Good find.

I should add, they gave me the most for my trade than any dealer I’ve talked to, by $1K. Overall a very positive experience.

I bought from them too! They were great and so easy to deal with. Gave me a good amount for my trade as well. Traveled a couple hours from Long Island to get it. They were all ready for me when I got there. Was back home before my kid got off the bus.

I’ve had my Telluride for 6 days and I’m really loving it!! No regrets whatsoever.
I finally posted some pics :)
