• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2020 Telluride AWD rear end jerking thumping and vibrating

I'm a canadian Kia Telluride customer. I bought mine in july 2019. I do have that vibration and Kia is working on it. They disconected the visco lock, took the full driving shaft off and tried. The vibration is still there. Awaiting further news from Kia.
Sorry to hear about that. Hope they get it fixed soon. Please keep us posted.

My 2020 Telluride started making a whining noise from the rear of the car. I took it into Kia Dealer today and the rear differential has failed and will need replaced. 2-3 weeks until I get my car back. 26,000 miles purchased in May 2020. I believe it’s in the first build sequence which I understand have a service bulletin Issued for this probLen.

What is your trim level and build date?

Far from any meaningful statistics, but it shows vibration issue was observed since day 1, all the way up to October. I count myself lucky I fall in APR - earlier bucket and no vibration problem so far (fingers crossed). Participation is probably skewed in that more people with vibration issue probably participated in the poll. In case you're wondering, I cannot modify the poll to add NOV-DEC bucket.

I have the EX AWD and I dropped it off the other day for them to diagnose the drivetrain vibration issue

Add me to the list for those with this exact problem. Purchased my SX-Prestige about 3 weeks ago. Thought I heard some weird rumblings at 69 mph right after I hit 1,000 miles. Well, I drove 750 miles today for the holiday, and I always get the audible vibration anywhere between 67-72 mph. 70 mph being the worst. It really sucks because my 60 minute work commute is on a highway with a 60 mph speed limit. I guess I’ll have to drive 65 mph and get passed all the time, or speed and risk a ticket driving 75 mph. The vibration and noise is definitely coming from the rear. And it seems much more pronounced now as I keep racking up the miles. Frustrating as hell, as it Is smooth at 75 and even 85 mph. I’ll call my local dealer Monday once I get back in town to schedule a time to bring it in. Given the highway miles I drive , this isn’t something I can live with. If they can’t fix it, I’ll probably have to sell the thing, get rid of it. It’s a damn shame , everything else is perfect. But yes , I agree, this is probably going to have to be a group effort getting this solved for those of us experiencing this.
Add me as well

If you guys still don’t lemon this I don’t know what else to say. This is a mass produced KIA, not one of a kind collectible passed down 3 generations with irreplaceable sentimental values. Just get a new one (that doesn’t have this problem) and call it a day.

My EX AWD doesn’t have this vibration, 7k miles and mostly highway in that exact speed range.
Would I still be able to get a new one if mine is leased ? I was intending on buying it but it's in the shop for this issue.

Still hard to believe Kia's not issued recall.

Mine had been in service on and off for many months with Vibration issue. Dealership were great at confirming it quickly and working with Kia on solution... which was slow though.

They replaced driveshaft and coupler and vibration moved from 68Mph to 75Mph. After some diagnostic rounds like taking all wheels of other Telluride to check if problem persists they have sent the driveshaft and coupler assembled and balanced together. This seems to have fixed 90% of the issue. I still may hear some noise above 70Mph... or may be imagining but it surely is much better than before and I would not have noticed this kind of sound in new car as abnormal.

Picked mine up 2 nights ago, got it on highway today and noticed it around 70 give or take. Had 10 miles on it when we test drove, 180 now, going in Monday I guess. Build date Jan 3 2020, EXP, AWD.

This isn’t good news!
