  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I ordered a Telluride SX Fwd about 4 months ago. At the time of ordering my dealer in Dallas area mentioned wait time of 3 months. I see that dealers are posting ETA all the way to end of March. My dealer says that he does not have a build date yet. Does that mean current lead time is over 6 months for SX trim?

I'm pretty sure that if they didn't put yours into KFOS as of 1/15-1/17 (the dates it was open to enter allocations), then you won't see it in late March. At least that is how I'm interpreting some of the discussion around here the last few days. You should re-check in w/ your dealer and ask for how many are ahead of you yet. Then look at how many they've been getting per month based on trim level by reviewing the spreadsheets out here... and you'll get a good idea.

You could end up where they claim they don't know how many are ahead of you like my guy did to me recently. It's BS, they know. They may just have to literally ask their manager how many, but don't want to be bothered. Or they don't want you to know there are still some huge number ahead of you.
