I will be ordering mine from Bill Barth Kia in Mandan ND, and they are a small dealership. That’s where I got the 6-9 month wait time from. I’m guessing by the posts here that it could be even longer. Really hoping my Equinox makes it until the Telly arrives!

Charlie O'Baugh Kia has had 33 total Telluride allocations through 1/13/2020. They are a very small dealership. Of those 33, they've only had 4 Prestige- they have been averaging 1 Prestige allocated to them per month since September. So, your question to them should be how many Prestige orders are in front of you? In total, they get allocated anywhere from 2-4 Tellurides per month - but they won't all be Prestige. Hopefully many of those 12 orders in front of you aren't Prestige...

I would also watch the dealer inventory section - people back out of Prestige vehicles all the time for various reasons (it is 6 months after their order...). Other than that, you can search to find good dealerships in the VA area from other members if you want to order from a higher volume dealership.

I know it's been mentioned in many places to look for a high volume dealership. But what is that considered as in cars per year, and what is considered low? And can this be broken down to versions such as SXP? I ordered my SXP in DarkMoss/Dune/Tow in Nov from CityKia in Orlando (FL112) and was told 8-12 weeks, not likely that is accurate as we are getting to the end and still no VIN from what I can tell.

I think the vin gets assigned right before they get ready to send it for delivery. Someone else will be able to speak to this better I’m sure. My dealer said around 10 wks for delivery and they did around 200 tellurides on the spreadsheet up until now. My order was placed 1/19 and my delivery date is supposed to be 3/28.

Got an update from my dealer this week. Ordered gravity grey/grey EX FWD no tow or prestige on 11/23. Current ETA is 2/17. If it happens, this is on the earlier side of their 3-4 month estimate when I placed the order.

I’ve been patient, my dealer had been attentive and kind (even calling to offer me lower model allocations while I wait, to which I politely decline) but I have to admit that without an end in sight my patience is wearing thin.

And after all this time there’s a price hike in my future? i want this car but I’m having a hell of a time not being bitter...

7/26/19. That should have been delivered by now... you better get with your dealer and demand to find out what's going on.

I ordered from the same dealer around the same time (7/30). My ETA is 1/30, revised from 2/6. VIN lookup shows that it was built 1/10. If this holds, doing the easy math means that it will have been 6 months order to delivery.

I feel you on that one. I ordered through Muncie on 9/14 and next Saturday marks 20 weeks for me. I’m glad I’m waiting because it’s helping with finances, but at the same time I really want my car right now. It is what it is.

Very frustrating, sounds like a pitiful dealership. But, there is hope -

We ordered EX, AWD, TOW, PREMIUM, Blach/Black November 13 from Royal Kia in Tucson and got a call the order was to be filled and thought February delivery but didn't have complete details yet. I couldn't access the latest Google sheet so don't know if it is listed or not.

Similar news here. I received an update call from my dealer this week for an early March build for my Dec 10 order date.
Copper/Dune SX-P/Tow. I’ll give my dealer props that he calls to give me a heads up when they are getting any Telluride in stock and pre-order ‘future owners’ get first dibs. Though I want it for winter, the anticipation is keeping me excited.
