Speaking of the "Selluride", the
Seltos is arriving, and on the seltosforum.com I've seen some dealers attempting to charge markups. That's funny. I think markups will be much harder to obtain on the
Seltos due to the crowded class it competes in. It doesn't seem to have real price advantage. What's your perspective on it, Jason? Does the interior "feel roomier" than a
Sportage? I know the base engine is less powerful, but the new Soul is fun to drive and that 1.6 Turbo is appealing. I liked the
Sportage interior, but don't like the exterior. I imagine a new
Sportage will launch in 2022 - it's their old design hanging around.
I can't gauge the
Seltos' direct competition from the descriptions - because it falls between subcompact and compact platforms. It's bigger than a Kona, but smaller than a Tucson? Or is it similar to Tucson? Smaller than a CX-5, yet it feels big inside? I'm quite confused... I guess I need to go check one out. I'm bummed about it not having ventilated front seats and hard touch dashboard. Maybe will just have to get another Telluride.
