If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When are 2021s going to be available?

Any date given right now would just be conjecture. Hasn't been released by Kia of America yet. A lot of guesses floating around of end of September-ish.

Anyone have an idea?

Late 2020 or in 2021 ? I think this question gets asked every other day. We have a few dealers on the forum who will likely let us know as soon as they know.

No need to apologize. Everyone wants to know. My money is on this summer - as it has now been on sale for a year. If it came out in June it would have had a 15 month 1st year run. We shall see.

Welcome. Being a newbie is great - but it's best to do some reading around the forum. Also the search function is terrific.

If you want to purchase a Telluride, there are many resources on this site. There is a "VIN Lookup" tool, a "production stats" Google sheet (search terms in quotes).

Note that ordering will likely entail a 4-6 month wait.

Also, don't expect dealers to offer discounts at this time - particularly for in-stock units. Markups are still prevalent - but you can find dealers willing to sell at MSRP. There are some rebates available from KMF.

Probably around October

Based on what information? Just curious. That seems really late based on the fact it went on sale in March of 2019. I highly doubt they would have a 19-20 month model year run for the 2020's.

Just because it was an early 2020 release does not mean the Telluride will be an early model year release in perpetuity. If anything, it being an early 2020 practically guarantees that it will NOT be an early 2021. Most likely will be fall like all of the other non-new 2021 Kias. But like has been mentioned, I’m sure that once Kia announces it, we will all be aware.

Totally understand - just a gut feeling I have. Time will tell.

Unrelated...I see you have a 2014 Chevy SS. I too have an SS, a 2015 with a manual transmission. And I have a Telluride SX-P/T on order. What part of the country are you in?

Actually the 2023 Telluride will be out in August.

We had a grass roots meeting last week. Lot of red tape behind scenes when KIA went from 40k to 100k. Lot of things involved to step up to 100k. I have a feeling you will see 21s sooner rather than later. Once again... My personal opinion.

The 2021s will be out in a few months, so i am recommending that everyone here should cancel their 2020 orders and reorder 2021;)!
You first!

Have you heard if KIA has actually achieved the production numbers yet at even the 80K step up they announced in November/December. If my memory is correct - they announced a jump to 80K/year about a month or two before they announced the jump to $100K/year. Watching the VIN #'s being released...it seems they are still running at levels seen last fall and not yet at the higher production rates.

Using this link: TellyStats

and seeing this is for 49 calendar days - the production rate is averaging 211/day for all models/trims. That is a run rate of 77K/year. It seems that the jump from 80/K year to 100K might be timed with the 2021 model. Again - just my opinion.

They shared zero production stats. Only the Mother Ship would know.

Thanks. That said - the guys on this forum that have been tabulating data can see and have shared. Based on the last 49 days...they have yet to hit the 80K/year mark - much less the 100K/year mark. My money is that transition will be tied to the 2021 model. You guys can laugh all you want - but my personal opinion is that there would be a huge marketing advantage for KIA to be able to capitalize on the summer selling season by marketing their full line up of 2021 models...to include the Telluride.
