If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... KIA Georgia plant closing for 2 weeks

Bummer, but I guess not terribly surprising.

Surprised it took this long. BMW just announced they are closing their Spartanburg, SC plant as well. Largest BMW plant in the world.

Looks like they will be re-tooling for some of the '21 models during this time too. Wonder what the cutoff will be for '20 orders? Maybe April's dealer KFOS entries will be '21s

Maybe I read that incorrectly and itll push that change back a couple week.

My dealership told me my order next month will be a 2021. That KFOS is no longer accepting 2020 orders after March. There is finally no one in front of me in line to get an allocation - so I was told when my order goes in next week - it will be for a 2021. He had no details yet on changes or price increases yet. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

They were supposed to close just for 2 days to clean and because of supplier shortages. Now information is that they will close for two weeks. Different messages out there though as to when that shut down will actually start. Some say March 30 it will begin shutdown that lasts until April 13. That's still 5 days away.

Well, this is going to disappoint a lot of folks. KIA will be closing their Georgia plant for 2 weeks beginning at the end of March.

Read between the lines...they already had a short shut down scheduled for early April to prep for a model year change. I suspect they are going to kill two birds with one stone. They can deep clean the plant and make the model year changes during the same shut down.

Time will tell! Hopefully the price increase isn't terrible

If you are waiting and not "getting"🙁.....the only good thing that we might focus on is that the 21 model may have some improvement "ticks" that you will be grateful to get and those of us who "have" will wish we HAD! Hang in there.....

I expect a small price increase on all trim levels...maybe the most on the SX...unless they bring out the rumored trim model above the SXP. I honestly hope they do...or make the the Prestige a bigger step up. With the top line Sorento, Cadenza, K900 and Optima having a fully digital dash - it only makes sense that the top trim Telluride have it as well. I would pay a premium to have that. Buyers have already demonstrated their willingness to pay nearly $50K for a KIA SUV that is designed and packaged correctly. Give us an all digital dash and we will go over $50K...or at least this buyer will! @StephenCantrelle hoping you can give me the news soon and make waiting for a 2021 my dream come true!

Hello everyone.
today signed a sales bill. since the deal was hard for the dealer, they didn’t give up the car from the lot. Made an order from the factory. There is no vin in the bill, but the year 2020 is indicated.

Dealership called today and said my Telluride is scheduled to built June 22 -barring further delays. So, I assume it will be a 2020.

Mid February. Black Copper SX-P w/ Tow.
