Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telluride SX Prestige vs 2019 BMW X3

I owned a 2018 BMW X3 M40i, and it was a lot of fun to drive. With 355hp to the wheels, it was insanely fast. The standard X3 is a 4cyl Turbo, two row, and not a true “apples to apples” comparison to a Telluride. The BMW X3 has a shorter wheelbase, and a lot less room on the interior. The BMW X5 is closer in size, but about 20K plus more in cost. The iDrive system smokes the tech in Kia, the interior is about equal and the drivetrain is superior. The BMW will out handle the Kia all day long. Long term operating expense will be more expensive with the BMW, especially after it’s out of its 4yr/50K warranty. You want driving experience, go BMW. You want affordable, long term (10 yrs) reliablity and some DIY maintenance, go Kia. I will be buying a 2020 BMW X3M next year.

I think the X5 is a better comparison , the infotainment and tech on the X5 is superior BUT way overdone IMHO , BMWs always drive better but I would change the wheels and rubber on the SXL ( Prestige ) I would do a staggered set up with wider tires and a lower profile , Maybe the Conti DWS Extreme , it wont get you all the way there but you'll be closer to the road and have a wider stance .................

The X5 4L starts $20 K higher , comparably optioned say $30 K more ..................I have owned , 5s , 6s , a 7 , X5 and X6 . all V8s , they drive brilliantly...................... and love being in the shop , I also had 2 lemons bought back .............owning BMWs for me was like dating a super model that cheats on you !!!
