So far KIA is not shutting down the plant in the US. @lisacfl there are no more allocations for 2020. Next allocation will be on April 15-20 and those will be 2021s different color names and pricing increase. As of those specifics won’t know till then.

Finally another dealership is sharing this information. My dealer (@StephenCantrelle) was the first to break it on this forum and many people doubted me and him. The next couple of weeks are going to be interesting. Really hoping they have some content changes - even if it comes with a pricing increase. I want that digital dash in my prestige!!!

I agree. The digital dash, like the Pallaside has would be cool, but I also would like to see them add the remote start from the key fob.

I saw that news after I posted that. The weird part is that if you look at VIN lookup tool (Telluride Lookup) hundreds of VINs have been popping up each day since 4/10. Wondering what is going on here... maybe just creating VINs for backlog so they're ready to roll once plant opens back up?

Question for all the dealers out there. Do you make people ordering Tellurides put down a deposit? And is it a deposit or is it a charge to place an order? We had to put down $500, told a deposit, back in Jan. Got a call last week saying my order had been canceled, and they offered me a different color SXP/T. We decided to buy this one. When doing paperwork we asked about the $500 and were told that was the cost to place an order. Of course I had a fit because I didn't even get that damn car! The dealer did then put it as part of our down payment. But I love my Telluride!! Just wish we could take a road trip!!

Deposits should be refundable, ESPECIALLY if they cancelled the order. Contact your credit cared company. Hopefully you didn't give them CS or a CHECK! OMG!

Jason, any update from your perspective/knowledge of when 2021's are to be built? My order through Muncie was the end of November, and last check I was still #14 on the ordering list. I'm wondering if its only a month or two that the 2021's are coming out that that I could be placed on a 2021 list if it is imminent. I would guess my Telluride wouldn't be built/delivered until May or into June. Thanks.

They have told us nothing. With everything going on in the world I'm sure it has changed things quite a bit.

Since they cancelled the order and not you, you should definitely get your deposit back!!!

What is KFOS? Like most of us, I'd love to know if at this point it will be a 2021 or not. Allocation amounts, to my understand, vary from dealer to dealer as well as the #orders that were requested to be built. I know about a month ago I was #20, and the dealer got 6 in just a week moving me to #14. This could have been a larger than usual amount in just a week. There is a lot of speculation on the forums that may or may not become reality.

I just hope that the 2021 model doesn't include a significant price increase. I know it's bound to go up, but hopefully it's not much.
