If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Due to world wide circumstances Kia has decided to cancel KFOS for month of April for all models. Official word as of this morning.

Yikes. Well, I'm starting to think the Kia Telluride is some phantom of my imagination lol.

Can you let us know what "KFOS" stands for? I'm sure I am not the only one who doesn't know what that acronym is. Thanks!

Do we know what specific feature, trim, and/or "known issues" fixes/changes that will be coming with the 2021 models? I believe that Kia was using the factory down time to put in place any production changes for the 2021 models.

For the 2021 Optima and Sorento is what they were retooling the plant on down time. They have a few color changes and added a blackout package on loaded SX. That’s all information we have at this time.

Makes sense. Especially if last month was the last month for 2020s.

Exactly. When the plant comes back on line - KIA has about a two month backlog of 2020 sold orders and dealer inventory for 2020's...so it isn't like they won't be building or selling Tellurides. It just impacts those of us that thought our order was going in this month. Hopefully by this time in May the country has a better idea of the turn around and we can look forward to a year of 2021 models coming for KIA.

None of this makes sense to me. People want to buy vehicles but companies are refusing to build them or even place orders for them. The economy can't come back if everybody stops making products to sell.

What other color changes are there? Is there a thread that I missed?

Yep - it is a self full-filling prophecy. The only good thing is that KIA has a backlog of orders that they haven't been able to fill. So it isn't like they are going to stop selling them. The plant will re-open and KIA will finish out the 2020 model year and by the time KFOS opens in May - they will still not be caught up. This break allows them to get somewhat caught up. Tellurides will start rolling out of the factory again in about 10 days.

Blackout package for SXP. Wolf Gray color replacing Gravity Gray and Glacial White Pearl replacing Snow White Pearl. Sangria color now available on SX trims. Black Copper available on S models and higher trim.

that’s all for now. Waiting on pricing information

Any word on the vehicles entered into KFOS last month (last of the 2020s?) Guess they'll just start production when they reopen and adjust the ETAs accordingly.

Correct they basically got pushed back a month with factory closing

That is the assumption. We will know in about a week to see if the plant re-opens.

Stephen you have any info on this blackout package? Is it going to make the SXP black/black headliner black as well? Or is it just external?

No detailed information at this time. Just that it will be available.

Black edition will be on top of an SX for sure?
Other markets have the black edition below the top trim...

Yes it is currently showing as an option on SX AWD and SX Prestige. Not currently showing on SX FWD or lower trims internally. Again still waiting on official news from Kia but it is showing as an option to click on internally.
