Totally. I went with @StephenCantrelle for the same reason. Both of these guys have earned lots of sales from people across the country and they are well deserved. It would be nice if their dealerships and even better yet - KIA Corporate would recognize them as truly being ambassadors for the brand.

Of course they did. Because they never expected the Telluride to sell out or a pandemic to hit or a plant shut down. Those that prepare for the worst are still standing. I'm not sitting! So sorry to hear this but you my friend are not alone.

I hope with the uptick in production that they don't produce more problems (poorly put together, engine issues etc.). I've heard about end of shift cars maybe not being assembled as well.

Hopefully not, but only time will tell unfortunately. On a side note, I do find some of the employee comments on their FB page funny, a lot of them about how no one is buying cars right now, so why are they even ramping up production again, etc. Taking everything out of me not to jump in and tell them how many people I know are waiting for their new Telly!!

A lot of people are probably out there looking for deals with how this whole coronavirus effected the economy, and those deals are out there! (Not with the Telly really unfortunately though). One of the employees in their page did mention that he visited a local dealer who told him that business was booming for their dealership. No one cared for his response, lol.

Lol. Hyundai was giving cars away. End of May they kicked in $1,000 for first responders and medical staff. 0% on Toyota. Just things you typically do not see. It helped drive traffic.

Even if the Telluride didn't still have a waiting list - it is in the manufacturers best interest to build their inventory to be ready for when the economy gets going again. When people start buying - you want a good inventory on the lot ready for buyer's cash. As it pertains to the Telluride - they need to get the backlog cleared so they can be ready to compete against the other 3 row SUVs out there. Ironically - it is the backlog that is holding back KIA from setting the sales charts on fire.

Went to the dealer today. It’s confirmed im getting no car after 6 Months of waiting. The manager got pissed because i had an attitude all he had to tell me is take my deposit back. He actually tried to convince that’s my car, he said thats a white car! I asked to speak with the general manager. He didnt know what to say, he said they’re gonna investigate who’s fault was it, gave me my money back and promised me to be 1st in line for 2021. I dont know if i should trust ordering from them anymore!

Usually you’ll say screw you guys and go to another dealer get you car. You cant do that with the telluride. No one has it!
