2020 EX Telluride update done. Got the stick and did the fast update while the battery was on the tender. No update issues.

Did you keep the car in accessory position? Pressing start button, without foot on brake, and car stayed on? I use a tender on my car as well. I’m waiting for download option becomes available.

Yes I kept it in accessory only. Car was not started. Pressed button without foot on break and then plugged USB in. Took about 30 minutes to update then a complete message popped up.

I wonder how the car knew not to shut off after the usual 10 mimute runtime allowed when the engine is off. Unless you were tapping on the screen throughout the update? Or it knows the charge is not dropping due to the tender?

I figure the update or usb kept it alive. I walked away after I started the update and returned like 45 min later saw the complete message on the screen.

You can always click in the driver's side seat belt while doing the update. It is an old BMW trick we used to prevent the car from going back to sleep on updates and such. This is while the engine is off and the tender is hooked to the car during the update.

Mine is working fine too but you know i was really interested in getting that Sounds of Nature function updated on my system that comes with this update LOL. Seriously, I was interested in the Android Auto split screen update but I am not in any hurry as everything is working correctly now and I am just happy to have the car after waiting over 5 months for it.

You get a sounds of nature app for free from your phone. I am guessing that the one that is coming in the software version is probably a one to two minute loop.

I ran the quick update (Canada). Didn't add split screen for android but it added the ambient sounds and it fixed my weather app which is nice. I'll run the full one again hopefully soon.

The update does add split screen for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay... but it isn’t on by default. You need to enable it in settings and device connections.

Mapnsoft said they would send me the new update as soon as it’s ready. I got 2 fedex shipping noticeS that labels were printed both with 2 day delivery from California. One shows anticipated ship date today and the other shows tomorrow. Nothing picked up yet. Hopefully I really do get something Thursday so I can finally update my 15 month old telluride !

Mapnsoft said they would send me the new update as soon as it’s ready. I got 2 fedex shipping noticeS that labels were printed both with 2 day delivery from California. One shows anticipated ship date today and the other shows tomorrow. Nothing picked up yet. Hopefully I really do get something Thursday so I can finally update my 15 month old telluride !

So I've noticed the Telluride is the only car in the line up having its update held, even the Palisade has it up and ready for download. Yea i snuck onto the Hyundai side of Mapnsoft, looking over the ver 14 guide it's literally the same as Kia's just in a baby blue PDF. Just has me wondering what really is the issue with ver14 for the Telluride?

Just got picked up a little bit ago for fedex 2 day shipping. So hopefully this new version will finally update my old v12 system. I’ll let everyone know Thursday night

So I recieved a FedEx notification that I have something coming from MnSoft (currently have not ordered anything for either Kia vehicle other than the new update for the Telly at the end of April). So I installed the update via the drive back on May 1st, so I'm presuming they are sending me an updated version. I have not had any issues with the new software, so will see and post on it on Thursday when it arrives.

Maybe the ver stamp didn't change since the fix wasn't as critical, wonder if you plug the USB drives into a PC and can see if there's a difference in file size, then again change might be so subtle it could just be a few KBs.
