Agreed. Especially since it is a Prestige trim. Dealers now have a new car to mark up and if true that only 950 are being made this year...it will be the new "SXP" in terms of desirability.

Kia said they won't send him pictures. Only way to find out what it looks like is when it hits the ground.
He's going to call me once it's at his dealership - told him to text me pictures.
Only 950 total BE being made

Also asked for his opinion on how he thinks Kia will handle the new Wolf color - he said probably the same way...you guys will see a VIN dispatched with the color before Kia does any official media pictures of it. Good Lord.

Eek! $15k over is insane. I hope they are unable to sell it. But I know it won't last long being what it is.

I'm just hoping some of the components become available for purchase sooner than later.

Thank you for sharing that information - we will WITHOUT a doubt see the real BE soon...about time.

I'm starting to think that Kia Media is doing this on purpose...meaning they are staying hush about the real pictures to incite even more chaos/demand.

Let me be the first to say that while I am excited about a new Telluride model coming...at the same time - everyone of these made for dealer inventory (which will as we are seeing be marked up) replaces a car that could be made for folks that have been waiting for over half a year for their sold car. If KIA doesn't open the order books next month and start seriously working through their backlog I am going to be pissed. And yeah - I know I have only been waiting since January and others have been waiting longer than me - but it seems pushing even more cars to dealerships that will be just marked up doesn't help the current situation.

Folks like @StephenCantrelle are caught in the middle. KIA (who I hope reads these forums) needs to get ahead of all the backlog issues. Folks waiting for 6-8 months is ridiculous.

950 seems nonsensical, especially with the Wolf Gray edition being black edition only, and not coming until September. There's 700+ dealerships in the US alone. Those 950 would get spoken for the first hour allocations opened up.

950 is probably the initial run... they did same thing with Moss/gray SX-P back in Feb/March 2019 (launch run - one to each qualified dealership). I agree with you. They will keep pumping them out... but right now, it won't be fast enough for anyone. More accolades... reasonable price... low interest rates... feeding frenzy.
 
Anybody have pictures besides a small square of what Wolf Gray will even look like? I've been trying to see what that color actually is because there area a variety of wolf grays in the world.
