Ours is our "first KIA" as well......a brand I NEVER thought I would own ( or want!) and yet it is the best blend of all things I expect in an SUV today....quality, tech, comfort and capability! Congrats on getting yours!!

I wonder how many First Time KIA owners there are among the Telluride crowd. This will be my first KIA as well. Funny - last night was at a family gathering and told my sister we had a KIA Telluride on order and she responded "why would you want a KIA". This coming from someone that drives a 2013 Mazda5. It is funny the stigma that KIA still holds today. Hopefully vehicles like the Telluride will continue to draw in new buyers and change the image of the brand. I really think the new K5, Sorento, Telluride and upcoming Sedona will help to really change the brand.

Totally crazy i know....but this Telly SX P is beyond a previous Mercedes SUV that I owned..........on all categories!

My family members said the same thing when I told them I ordered a Kia, let alone even buy one. When they all saw it, I didn’t hear any negative comments. Aside from the fact that it was big car.

Yes, Kia/Hyundai is now a very good balancer: price/quality/technology/style. Over the past 7 years, I bought/changed 6 cars of this brand. Before moving to Canada, I also used these brands, there were also Toyota, Ford, Lexus.

Sedona is now not the same as before. Unfortunately, Kia headed for earnings, removing top trim from our market.

Sedona is now not the same as before. Unfortunately, Kia headed for earnings, removing top trim from our market.

For the upcoming Sedona - they have yet to announce trims available in our market. I am hopeful with the success of the Telluride - we will get all the features available in South Korea. Would make a great challenger for the horribly ugly new Toyota van.

Hi MarcinTexas, I ordered and put deposit on my first ever KIA on 02-21-20 for SX-P/T AWD in SWP/DUNE and still excitedly waiting patiently.
Will be trading in my 2015 Toyota Highlander which is my 3rd Highlander. I waited for order my Telly until I was able to test drive the new Top-Line 2020 Highlander
We were not impressed at all especially after test driving the Telly. Should have listened to Wife and order months earlier, but wanted to give Toyota a good look.
Hoping it will be worth the wait....... Love this Forum, all the people here are great and knowledgeable.

Hi MarcinTexas, I ordered and put deposit on my first ever KIA on 02-21-20 for SX-P/T AWD in SWP/DUNE and still excitedly waiting patiently.
Will be trading in my 2015 Toyota Highlander which is my 3rd Highlander. I waited for order my Telly until I was able to test drive the new Top-Line 2020 Highlander
We were not impressed at all especially after test driving the Telly. Should have listened to Wife and order months earlier, but wanted to give Toyota a good look.
Hoping it will be worth the wait....... Love this Forum, all the people here are great and knowledgeable.

Yeah - we sat on the sidelines all last fall because I wanted to see some of the long term reviews from the major car magazines. All the while - more and more people were getting in line in front of me...then COVID happened. The silver lining is that we will be getting a 2021 - which is better overall in my opinion. Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would want a KIA, Buy a KIA, wait 8 months for a pre-ordered KIA or pay nearly $50K for one. Sign of the times...

The prestige package is nice but not really needed. I got the white SX. Being in Florida I don't really need AWD. Not to mention I saved alot of money. My dealer rep told me they sold an SX P for 62K a couple weeks ago. Mine was right at MSRP 44k. It really doesn't ad that much in my opinion. It is crazy what people are willing to pay extra for these.

I had a K900 for 9 months. Bought a 2015 and enjoyed it. I just wanted a more practical family vehicle. Was hoping the wife would go for the Telly. She ended up getting a Tesla Model 3. When that happened I decided I'm getting a Telly. Before that I had an Infiniti M35 for 11 years and 345k miles.
