• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... In about 3 weeks the wife and I are planning a fun road trip. Albuquerque to Prescott AZ, then to nieces wedding in Chino Hills CA, then to Lake Powell AZ, then the highlight, heading up to TELLURIDE CO, and finishing off the trip with a few nights in Durango CO, then back home. Looks like over 2400 miles on the new Telly in around 18 days.

Snow White Pearl SXP/Grey interior with just over 400 miles on her.

Anything I need to think about before and during its maiden voyage?

Cruise control is your friend. As a rule of thumb, I don't use it until I've broken it in for about 1000 miles. Drove I-40 my after purchase. Easy peasy to be going 80+ without being aware.

Love the Pic. Thanks for posting, We ordered the SXP/Dune. I noticed you going to end y'all journey at Telluride, Co. Would be interesting to see how many of
our Forum members would be interested in planning a Telly run to TELLURIDE, CO. I haven't gotten mine yet but hopefully will SOON ;) and the Wife and I are
already planning on trip to TELLURIDE, CO. soon after we do get our Telly here in Southeast Louisiana

We are heading to Durango for the 4th and are going to HAVE to drive the Telluride to Telludride! As long as CO doesn't ban us Arizonans due to Covid!

Thanks. Telluride is awesome. My son and I used to run the off road trails up there. Black Bear and Imogene Pass. Of course I had a lifted, Icon suspension, 35” tires on an FJ Cruiser. Those were fun trips. Son had a lifted Wrangler with 35” tires also. Should never had sold that FJ.

Here's a summary of our trip. Telluride did Great! No problem with the hills or passing. Could it have more power, yes, however for its purpose as a family hauler it was perfect! Got a nice warm welcome home!

112 deg F... must be back in the Phoenix area. Welcome back home.

Z.
