• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I currently use the app to remote start the car, but I don't prefer this method because a) I have to locate the app, launch it, auth even with faceID takes forever to load and once its loaded, its a couple of clicks to start the car and there is a significant delay after I issue the command to start the car and when the car actually starts; b) It will cost be upward of $200 per year just to start my car using the stupid APP. Even after paying that cost, the user experience is worse than having a remote start using the key fob.

Wondering what my options are here. Has anyone used the aftermarket remote start? Will that void the warrantty?

There is a 27 page thread here.

I post a link in the thread to someone who used Fortin's module back in 2019.

Fast forward to page 25, and accessorides.com is supposedly launching a plug and play kit in July. See their website for details and additional discussion in the above thread.

Some folks have used Compustar or another remote start kit - Best Buy sells a few.

I cannot speak specifically to the Telluride but we have put the Compustar with DroneMobile in a 2019 Sorento and 2015 Santa Fe. It has worked great in both vehicles and they have a deal on the DroneMobile when you sign up for service of 5 years for approximately $180. Both of ours were installed at Best Buy. I've attached a picture of the one we have had installed twice.
