Hey guys! Just found this forum after following tellurideforum.org for week or two and have been calling every dealer around looking to buy and I just can't find one selling at MSRP. Even the dealers that are on "good dealer" lists have been telling me that they do mark ups. I'm in Los Angeles so I know I'm in a tough market but looking for a Telly has just been exhausting.

I would really love some help or if any dealers here have anything available for me, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm open to flying somewhere in the near vicinity of California to pick up and drive back or willing to pay for delivery if its reasonable.

I'm looking for a EX FWD Black/Black.

If you are a dealer or know any dealers nearby that I can place an order with, that would work as well. Thanks in advance!

According to his recent posts, ordering system isn’t available yet. But supposed to available again sometime soon?

I was just asking for the price. I had no idea I could place an order until I found this forum. Should I call back and ask if they are taking orders at MSRP?

If they didn’t offer to let you order, there is a good chance those dealers are not accepting orders. The good news is the EX FWD is one of the easier trims to get—for example, if you order it will come much faster than a AWD SX.
I suggest ordering through one of the reputable dealers on this forum that sell at MSRP or lower. What you pay in shipping will be less than the markup you would pay locally.

I think Dallas is the closest. You can order from Royal Kia in Tucson, but they have a $599 doc fee...and I am not sure if they ship or not. But they might be close enough to you for a road trip. There isn't a list, but keep an eye on the dealer inventory threads.

There is a dealer on here from Muncie Indiana that will do msrp. For an ex fwd that should be easier as everyone is usually looking for the loaded sxp. Shopping from the east coast would probably be 1,200-1500. So not sure that helps you.

I actually contacted Muncie but they aren't taking any orders right now. It's just a bit far but I did ask them how much shipping would be.

You might try:
Moritz Kia (two in Dallas Area)
Huffines Kia (Corinth and McKinney, Dallas Area)
Hilltop Kia in Richmond, CA
Van Griffith Kia, Granbury, TX

And perhaps a few others on the Good Dealer Experiences List.

I don't believe that we have heard of a Southern California dealer that doesn't have major markups now. Everything is more expensive in California!

Also, watch the Dealer Inventory section and jump on any deals that fit your desires.

Hi y’all! First time post-er, I’ve been quietly reading and learning. I’m in South Florida and in the same boat. I’d be willing to pay to ship (any idea how much from TX or IN?) or to travel to pick up or I’ll take intel on any reputable and fair FL dealers. I’m looking for MSRP for a 2021 EX FWD with Premium Package in Gravity Gray/Black interior. I’ve got a Costco membership too if it will help me get that or lower This will be my first brand new car and the experience has been a pain so far. lol
