Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... You can try. That's just a dealer add that is nearly all profit. You should ask what it really is... it's possible that they are doing nothing other than just washing the vehicle for $1k. These adds are typical. There are hundreds of posts on these items. Refuse if possible... or ask for something you want in return for the cash. They're just trying to pad the bottom line. Kia requests dealers do prep the vehicle prior to delivery, but that charge shouldn't be passed on to consumer.

Yeah, I use Adams products - definitely better than whatever the dealer is wanting to put on there. That being said, I admit that I had to agree to a $500 exterior and interior protection package - but I can honestly say that it wasn't such a bad product. It has kept the exterior looking good and I wash it regularly with my own products. I didn't want to pay it, but they wouldn't budge, and I wasn't going to walk on an SXP over $500. I'm pretty sure they just sprayed it on after washing as I had to buff it in better with a microfiber when I got home.

You mean you won’t charge 1100 for wash, wax, and tint and another 1500 for all weather mats on top of the $200 carpet mats you have to pay for from the factory???

Lol!! These people know the air as is..already 80% nitrogen right?! I’m thinking notWe only charge $800 for Nitrogen.

The dealers down here in FL are down right turrrrrible. Got our 2020 from IN, that was a fun 4am flight and 12hr drive home. Our 2021 will be via Muncie.
