Appreciate everyone on this forum as it has made my info gathering so much easier.

Recently placed a deposit on a 2021EX-P with Tow that is due on/around 7/10. Looking forward to joining the Telluride family! We had a positive experience with a dealer in Memphis TN and are paying $500 below MSRP due to being a Veteran with the KIA rebate. Super excited for this vehicle.

A crap FIAT, I mean Jeep Renegade. Been dying to get rid of it ever since my wife got it. Test drove a Telluride a couple weeks ago and that was it. Pretty fortunate to be getting one as quickly as we are.

Just curious, how much deposit are they asking for? The dealership near me (Elgin, IL) asked for $1000 down.

Be careful with Napleton Kia Elgin. You may never get your vehicle... see the linked posts. If you're not referring to that dealership, then please disregard.

How to know if the dealer is yanking my chain or dropped the ball.

I ordered back in January and still have nothing no date no eta no in line list , nothing! How do I know that someone didn’t drop the ball on my order?

I haven't read anything negative about Schaumburg. I certainly wouldn't order from Napleton, but if they had an incoming unit that met your specs and had an ETA (and a VIN) then I would write a refundable deposit sale contract giving me the option to pull out and receive deposit if not delivered within a week or two of ETA. Ensure that the VIN given is in the proper range according to our VIN lookup site. I would also pre negotiate price and ensure that a sales manager executes the contract.

$1k fully refundable. Dealership around me has been incredibly solid. Some delays, not to any fault of their own, but overall a positive experience thus far.
