• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey gang - just wanted to Poll/Ask you guys what you find the most useful upgrades to your Telluride; cross bars, interior lighting package, mud flaps, etc. etc.

Obviously a lot of these come down to choice but if you had a few that you would absolutely not do without please let me know.

Dealers can chime in as well to the ones that they most often recommend buyers add-on as "no-brainers".

Thanks!

floor mats, cargo mat, 3m protection, tinting, stepsbar.

Just last night I installed the Kia rear cargo mat that allows you to split the third row. It's really great. Thick and lined with rubber on the bottom side. It isn't the traditional cargo liner with a lip, but it installs perfectly over the hooks and straps. Seat belt extender for my youngest. Mudflaps. and I got 2 USBs that have micro, USB c, and apple tips, for the second row charging needs.

Still looking for a good all-weather mat and, after going with a carpeted rear cargo mat, I think that I might stray from the typical rubber all-weather floor mat and go with carpeted all-weather mats more like the cargo mat.

All weather floor mats (mine are OEM, absolutely love them), upgraded my EX-P halogen headlights to LED, upgraded license plate lights to LED, also plan to upgrade my reverse lights to LED. I would also recommend a rear cargo liner of some kind, especially if you have a large dog you take on trips.
Ditto, I did the same exact upgrades to my EX-P.

Wheel locks cuz nobody has stolen my wheels yet. 😂

Love all the recommendations - you bet I'm doing most of them.

What dealer installed upgrades would you guys recommend?

I wish I had done the lit up door sill plates. I had the OEM crossbars installed and enjoy the way it looks, but I know some people on here don’t. I like the mudguards that came on mine from factory as well. I’m toying with the idea of the side steps, but have a harder time biting the bullet on the cost of those. I really, really enjoy the way they look though from pics I’ve seen.

Are the mud guards worth it? Anyone think they are useless?

I hate the look of mudguards. But I think if you regularly drive on dirt roads where there is a lot of rain/moisture they could be helpful. Or maybe they help with snow in the wintertime?

This is an absolute must for the summer

I heard the velcro that holds down mat could damage the carpet...is that true? Also, are you able to slide heavy items on that mat, or is the surface tacky/sticky?

Those are nice. This is what I’m getting!

@pheen , thank you for the pictures. Do these cover the isle / gap between the captains chairs? By the looks of the 'hump' in the second row, it doesn't look like they cover. Also, taking a look at 2020 Kia Telluride All Weather Floor Mats (AA014), it doesn't look like they do. @alexdrums , I do agree with you, but coverage on the gap between the seats for the kid is one of the main reasons I'm questioning getting these. I was sold on them until I saw @BabyRide's comment.

I generally like the fit and feel of the OEM all weather. However, I feel the 3rd row coverage is very lacking and it slides around way to much. Also, no coverage of the hump in the 2nd row and section between the captains chairs has me looking for an alternative.

I looked at these Husky liners, but it's the same thing there. And at this cost, I'd rather stick with the OEMs.

So the debate is seemingly becoming between these two options;
WeatherTech - 2020 Kia Telluride | Floor Mats - Laser measured floor mats for a perfect fit | WeatherTech

Smartliner - SMARTLINER Custom Fit for 2020 Kia Telluride with 2nd Row Bucket Seat No Center Console with in between Coverage
This seems like the best option for price point and bang for the buck. Provides third row and isle coverage as well as two cargo mats for standard or extended trunk space. But I don't know what the quality of these are or the feel.

Just ask the dealer to throw in the OEM all weather mats for free, then if you don’t like them, replace them with something different. Exactly what I did, but haven’t felt the need to replace them yet!
