Order to delivery time

Can we stick to the topic of this thread?

Why are people talking about CR reviews and tires?

Sure....the order to delivery time for my SXP with a high consumer reports rating and Michelin tires has been pushed back again into October.

Sorry - I couldn't resist.

Ok, back on topic - I have ordered and have yet to receive a delivery time, but my EX-P should either come with Michelin’s or pirellis (still unsure), which relates to the performance specs identified in the CR writeup

But seriously.. ah hem, back on topic

What is the latest on estimates for order to delivery for the SXP V6 AWD non-Nightfall? We are extending our lease to Oct 19, but doubt that is enough time to order and get delivered.

3 months to an open answer! Some of us have been waiting for 10 months

Tellurides that are at this moment assigned to dealers have ETA's in October.. So if you need one by then I would say finding one that is already assigned to a dealer.. Ordering one varies dealer to dealer but 6-8 months is the norm

OK - we will keep looking to see what shows up. Hard to find in TX let alone without a markup.

Yeah, I gave up looking here in Texas and ordered out of state.

I’m already in Kdealer with an SX NE AWD. Would my place in the queue be impacted if I wanted to add Prestige to my order?

Based on info already here, my guess is the answer is “no.”

If your order is in you cant add anything to it. You’ll have to reorder.

@Natelee53 , ordered an EX-P BCP w/ blk. No ETA. Ordered on the first, so we’ll see one in the next few weeks (hopefully)!

I ordered mine on the 3rd. When I asked when it”d be in KFOS he said 1-2 weeks. Did they tell you anything different?

If in Kdealer and not filled yet they can edit your order but you will get new Dealer Request number..(pushing you back on the list) but internally they could in theory keep you in same order for KFOS though...

I didn't ask that question.

I ordered on 07/20 and the VIN populated on Failcat on 07/30 so it must have been within a couple of days. They may have matched me to an incoming allocation but per @StephenCantrelle, my name is on the order.

@franzcarr , I ordered on the first and they stated that it would be entered into KFOS the third week of the month...similar data to what the good people on here have already mentioned.

I assess that @Natelee53 did end up with a dealer allocation, unless for some reason they were able to enter his order ON the day he placed it. Either way, he got lucky!

@MarcinTexas , this interests me! While tires DO make a huge difference, I don't think I've ever said 'no' to a vehicle because of the stock tires. When comparing the two vehicles, I don't think we would have eliminated the Palisade just because of Hyundai's tire choice. I wonder how many others out there use this as a factor in selection. Of course, now thinking about it, I don't know why I WOULDN'T consider it - when I buy a new set of tires, I research the HECK out of them. A tire is not JUST a tire.
BTW, you mention the SX gets Michelins. Does anyone know the tire on the EX-P (20")? I don't think they were Michelin, but as I just mentioned, I didn't even consider the tires.
I just got my EX-P this past Friday. It has Pirelli Tires.

@cvlwrnut

Thank you for this update! That answers that question.

If you can wait just change it to a Prestige. You might as well get what you want, even if it takes longer.
