If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Canadian 2021 Telluride

$500 less than MSRP in Calgary, I am a little pissed off/annoyed not getting the $1000 Kia incentive to pay cash (I should have fought harder, but they don;t even know if it exists anymoe), but overall, looking at what the USA people are paying, pretty happy.

Many stories on Facebook groups, USA people are paying $5000 over MSP.

Like a lady was quoted $56,500 US in Seattle for the one I ordered for $56,500 CDN

Wow, 500 less than MSRP?

I ordered SXL night fall edition last week at South trail Kia.
They didn’t show me MSRP that time.
I just figured I am paying MSRP plus 1500 dollars.
plus tax and 3.99% finance.
I wish I join this forum before I order it.

Yes it is possible to get a discount in Canada.

I ordered a 2020 model SX at the end of February 2020 in Quebec and I got MSRP -2230$ before taxes. I also got another 1000$ rebate (before taxes) by using the BMO & RBC Prime Finance at 2.99% instead of the factory finance at 2.49% (see Prime Rate Credit below in the picture). Doing this saved me about $9 per month on a 60 months finance.

I received my Telluride May 20, 2020, but the car was delivered at the dealer at the end of April 2020, but because of the COVID-19, I was not able to go pick it up before.

Interesting - I too booked mine with 2300 below MSRP by shopping around. Based on the APA membership dealer invoice cost comparisons. How do you approach/apply for BMO/RBC Prime finance?

To apply for the 2.99% BMO & RBC Prime Finance and get the $1000 prime rate credit, you simply need to ask your dealer. I don't know if this still applies in August 2020 (I did my final paperwork signing on May 20, 2020).

In my case, my dealer was not aware of this possibility, but then I e-mailed him the CarCostCanada report and then he called Kia Canada. He came back to me 15 minutes later and he told me that yes this will work. All of this was done by phone.

The next day when I did the final paper signing, all the paperwork was already done for the BMO Prime Finance and the extra $1000 rebate before taxes was applied.

I guess that Kia Canada does not want people to use the BMO & RBC Prime Finance, this is why this is not really documented anywhere. Kia Canada want people to use their Kia Factory Finance.

I came in with a lot of info they did not have from researching, and people here. I also did not agree to the AB package ($1500). That is crossed off on my paperwork. I hope I can live without the Nitrogen in my tires. /s

The deal literally took me 5 minutes over the phone because I knew all the numbers.

I don't think that is available this month anymore, and you bought a 2020, as opposed to the 2021, I think have changed with the popularity of the vehicle..

The finance guy and I went back an forth, (I did not have this info) and he said the $1000 only comes from financing at a much higher rate.

They (the money guys) make me uncomfortable when I talk to people like that, so I prefer to not bother to argue and just pay cash and use my LoC, but I will mention it one more time before I actually sign the paperwork.

Is this the NIGHT FALL EDITION specs above for the Canadian Market?

Yes it is. It's so weird that Nappa Leather is only available on SX Limited. If you get SX Limited Special Edition (blackout) you are stuck with regular leather. I even confirmed this with the dealer... sucks, i wanted the gray nappa leather, but the blackout edition won lol

Hello ALL

I just got word from my dealer my SXL with Nappa Telly ordered back on May 4 is at Sea meaning from factory to dealer and just arrived at the Kia compound in Montreal by rail.

I may be at my dealer in Ottawa next week!

Subject: Re: FW: 2021 KIA TELLURIDE SNOW WHITE SXL NAPPA EDITION

What I found out from my hunting for Telluride is that most banks doesn't offer direct car loan with consumers, instead they only deal with the car dealership as a middleman. That's why when you try to secure a third party car loan through referral website you'd be asked about which vehicle you wanted to purchase. Then it will find out the bank that is associated with the car manufacturer, i.e. BMO for Kia.

By the way, do you mind sharing your bill of sales (with confidential info blacked out) as I run into the same situation where I got my loan from BMO but dealer said no to the cash rebate.

** Nevermind, I email Kia Canada and was told not eligible for the $1000 cash rebate.

Dealer just texted me. They got a VIN Number for my order (placed August 06)

They said about 4 weeks to make it to dealer, so a 5 week (maybe 6 week) turnaround from start to finish...

That's not too bad IMO.

The Kia Factory must be concentrating on Canadian orders now that is very fast turnaround if it happens
