If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Aftermarket Wheels for the Telluride

anybody planning on wheels for their Telluride? the stock 20s are only 7.5" wide from something I've read... i want to order some rims before my Telluride arrives so i can put them on right away, but im trying to figure out what i can fit... i found a set i want, now i just need to figure out how wide i can go... and whether or not to jump up to 22s. i was looking at 20x9, or 20x10.5, but now im thinking maybe 22x9.5...thoughts?
I have an SX on order and am looking to do the same thing! I had 20x10's on my last car and it really is an excellent height/width ratio. Once you get up into 22x 9.5's won't look much wider than stock. Sure you'll have a bigger rim but I'm doing this for the width. just my .02.

2020 EX
TSW Max Matte Black 20x8.5 ET40 (front), 20x10.5 ET40 (rear)
Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 255/50R20
Stock suspension.
No lift kit.

Just a mock up for now. Hub centric rings and center caps don’t arrive until tomorrow.

Looks awesome! can you take some pics from down low and from behind? Im considering 20x10's all around on my new SX when it arrives. They all have to be the same size because its AWD. Would love to see how a 10/10.5 wheel looks like from behind. Thanks

Looks sweet!!!

Nice wheels! These ones look pretty close to the stock Black ones on the SX models which I was trying to get for the wife. Also has a way better stance as well with them being abit wider.

Finally got around to installing my new wheel & tire setup.

If anyone has the original SX black rims (non nightfall) and wants to sell them, please contact me. I have a Wolf Gray nightfall on the way, but am not a fan of the nightfall rims.

Our S just arrived from Georgia on Tuesday. Picked it up last night and had to ditch the stock wheels immediately. After looking at what must have been 150+ wheels, I decided on Drag DR-77's in a 20x9 with +40 offset riding on the stock 245/50/20's for now. The 9" wide wheels change the stance quite a bit. And the Gravity Gray color is much more interesting in person than it is in the pics. It has a blue hue to it and with the wider, black wheels and new emblems from this forum, we have been elevated to rockstar status in the neighborhood. Lol.

Next up is getting rid of the new stock wheels that have 12 miles on them...the miles from dealer to the tire shop! PS. Tire shop had to order black lug nuts. Lame!20200918_185415.png20200918_185426.png20200918_185355_2.png20200918_200441 (1).jpg

The design of those wheels is nearly identical to the SX wheels. I guess that is why you picked them!

That's probably an accurate statement. I had 3-4 picked out and let my wife look through them. I wanted a clean design that wasn't too over the top flashy. This wheel was available in a 9" wide and could be ordered through our local big box tire retailer (and the price was reasonable) so I went with this one. So yeah, having an SX look was one of my goals.

Less than 2 weeks into ownership changed the wheels and tires. Went with Asanti ABL-27 20x9 35 offset gloss black wheels and Kuhmo 275/45.
Thanks to everyone who has posted their setup and specs.I found it extremely helpful with making our decision. I love the new stance.

For those that installed Aftermarket wheels, which lugnuts did you go with?

Hello fellow Iowan! Great looking set up. Question..any rub on turns with 275/45? Also, having a hard time on online websites even saying that size fits a Telluride. The websites keep pushing me to a smaller width or higher profile. You go with discount tire? Tirerack? Thanks.

No issues with rubbing. I bought the wheels online. Got the tires at Discount Tire. They did a nice job with mounting and balancing.

Have you noticed any difference in the ride quality? What about turn in?
