You'll really like the butterscotch i think. We weren't able to see it in person before ordering and hoped it was more tan than yellow like some of the pics show online. It definitely is more tan and looks awesome with the black interior and headliner 👍
 
@internetgirl6191 , nope, that's good! I appreciate it. I haven't seen too many photos of the dune interior, especially with the white. It looks really nice! Congratulations!

Pictures of butterscotch come across yellow and pictures of dune look like darker gray. I've read that the butterscotch is darker in person. Is that the same about the dune? I'd love it if there was a color right in the middle of the two.

Same here. I’ve not seen butterscotch in person till now. But looking at the pictures I feel it must look great. Everyone has their own opinion about this color combo. But I really like it with white exterior on the Telluride.

GM started using HUD in top trim Pontiacs back in the early 90's...then the corvette in the late 90's early 2000's. sometime in the past ten years they finally went mainstream to lots of other brands. Honestly - I think if more people knew about them - more would upgrade to them. My 2015 Chevy SS has it. My first car with one. I had always wanted a HUD but no car in my price range offered it until I bought my SS 5 years ago. Now Mazda, Hyundai, KIA, Chevy and nearly every luxury brand offers them.

Like I have said before - most people that don't want one - have never had one. Everyone that I know that has a car with a HUD - won't buy another car without it.

For those that haven't ordered their Telluride yet - don't dismiss the HUD option. It is worth it.

LOL first time I've actually even heard about this! Reminds me of TRON or something haha, didn't know this has been a thing for so long. I guess if i stay away I'll never need it ;)

I remember back in the day debating whether I wanted the Pontiac Grand Prix GT or pay more to get the GTP with HUD. I ended up being cheap

Man- when I was in college I lusted after that Grand Prix GTP with the HUD. Back in the 90's it was so futuristic. But I am wrong about when it was introduced. A quick google search shows that it wasn't Pontiac - but Oldsmobile on their Cutlass Supreme in 1988. GM really had some experimental tech back in the day. Buick sold the first car with a touch screen display in the 80's on the 1985 Buick Riviera and the Oldsmobile Toronado in 1973 had the first commercially available airbag. Funny how all of those cars are dead today.

We owe a debt of gratitude for leading edge cars before many of us were driving to bring some of the tech the value priced Telluride offers today. What is sad is how many cars today still don't offer HUD.

Cool. Yes, I sat in a Nappa black interior in the Palisade and it was amazing!
