OEM All Weather Premium Cargo Mat with 60/40 Seatback Protection

I just wonder if these will be available in the US in the next year. I think I'll wait and see.

My salesman at my local dealer tells me all the time that they are frequently asked for feedback and such by their regional rep. Maybe we should start talking to our salesmen about how we want these mats in the US. Maybe if enough people pass word down the line we may get them.

Or maybe we just let Canada have this one... I mean, they only get two trims...

Thank you for the detailed post!

Makes my quoted price a steal of $330 to my door from a Canadian dealer.

Has anything spilled on it? Any dirt or garden materials? Basically wondering if it's passed the sniff test yet.
Literally got it today so haven't gotten anything on it (although looks like I did leave a dusty footprint on it in one of the images). I don't expect that spills would soak through it. Seems like it would be waterproof even though it's softer than Weathertech stuff. I'm actually planning to pick up some topsoil bags here soon--I'll probably throw a tarp down for that--mostly because there's still a crack along the seat backs where the 60/40 split hits--and I wouldn't want soil getting in between the seats.

Pulled the trigger at $330 to my door. Not bad from Canada.
Nice, which dealership?

Just put in the Smartliner brand floor mats which seem to be a very cost effective purchase for now and want to get something for the rear cargo area sooner than later.
I'd like to get one of these long term as well but contemplating a $40 water resistant pet blanket off Amazon for now.

Man, maybe I’m cheap...I like this but that seems steep for a cargo liner. I can basically get both size smart liners for less than $160 (Total) with discounts. Not as convenient having to swap it out but I think that’s the way I’m leaning. Let us know the quality of it when you receive it.

Check out the above detailed post. Looks like good quality for sure!

Well then damn I agree - a 60/40 split out of WT will definitely be at least $400...Makes the ~$320 for the OEM comforting...

Did the group buy ever go down guys?

These are made by WeatherTech, so would be cheaper IMO. (If they used same materials, and not added the Telluride name)

Source: My dealer, when got a quote for it (and front and 2nd/3rd row), the SKU reads WeatherTech Cargo Liner

Your saying the OEM all weather Cargo mat discussed at length here is made by WT?

if so, that should make it easy for someone to reach out to WT and see if they’d do a direct order

Yes.

The OEM 60/40 all Weather Cargo Mat discussed in this post, are made by WeatherTech as per my dealer and the quote I recieved.

Others have mentioned that earlier in the thread.

This is my quote, I realize that the picture is not good, but I have posted images of the real cargo mat in other posts on this forum.

Someone did that (as mentioned somewhere on these forums) and I think was ignored or were told not possible. I think it was this thread. (Edit, yes it was)

I just wrote to WeatherTech regarding this thread and asked if the company has the interest to produce this product we all want. I have no clue if the company cares about this kind of customers' inquiry or email. Anyway it never hurt to try.

May be if the company receives more inquiries like this they may eventually produce it.........

Interesting then it's a matter of time before they start to sell this without the Telluride badging.

Probably got an exclusive licensing deal for X amount of time. Once expired they will sell it on their site.

Would be my guess, but who knows.

I reached out to WT over email and phone today. TW US and WT Canada retail denied that they manufacture this product. I spoke with WT Wholesale and they confirmed the same. That person mentioned that could have potentially manufactured a product for Kia, and specifically the Canadian market. His suggestion was to do what others in this thread have done - call a Canadian dealer and have it shipped.

Bottom line, I trust a receipt / quote may say WT, but I didn’t get any confirmation from them that they do make it and thus no way to purchase from WT direct.
unfortunate but oh well

You just did an immense amount of legwork to conclude what most of here believed. Thank you for that.

Plenty of cargo mat options noted on these boards. Bottom line only way to get these is from Canada. Unfortunately.

Thanks for that info.

Sorry I was just passing along what I was told.

I personally lifted the mats off the floor of the test vehicle looking for the WT brand somewhere and did not see it, I thought that was strange. I did only have about 5 minutes with the vehicle before they were closing, and it was sold, so no chance to go back now. I did not take them out of the vehicle, so maybe I missed it? I also regretfully took the word of the salesperson and the Manager saying they were WeatherTechs along with the quote.

I apologize for any misinformation I was given that I passed along.

Goes to show you can't trust car salesmen and/or dealers, but in reality, they might not know the difference either.

As a final note on this matter, I am still ordering the 60/40 here in Canada, and I will have a better look to see if any WT labeling is on it, but I seriously doubt it now.

@GreekWiz , no issues.

I should have looked on Canada’s accessory site first. If you look at the attached picture, this WT 3rd row cargo mat matches the part number in the receipt / quote picture you shared. I just assumed that the picture you shared was of the 60/40 and went with it. I should have looked harder.

that 60/40 isn’t WT and is probably only sold in Canada. Hopefully we’ll see it here some day

To further muddy the waters here...This has the same part number but says "premium" in the description.

Edit: my bad numbers are slightly different.

Edit: my bad numbers are slightly different.

I think what happened is that @GreekWiz was looking for the 60/40 (part number you provided) and they quoted for the WT (part number I provided) with WT floor liners.
