If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... OEM All Weather Premium Cargo Mat with 60/40 Seatback Protection

Meanwhile over in the Bizarro World they're talking about the same exact thing. Ha. See post #43 & #54 for idea of total US cost roughly $325 +/- a few bucks I'd say.

yikes. I can't really justify paying over $300 for that haha. that's just me...

haha dude - you found the guy, contact information and "rough" pricing.

You are the man!

The person doing the group by lives in GA somewhere - you would come in a lot cheaper.

I just emailed him. Hopefully I can get in on the order! I'm scheduled to pick up my Telly on Monday if everything goes smoothly :)

Yeah, not being in GA proximity I can't justify the $300+. I had hoped the GB would get some discount but it doesnt look like it. Back to the original plan of ToughPro for $75

Talked to Tyler - parts guy in Canada (actually at a Hyundai dealership but has a friend who works for Kia).

He said "freight" is roughly 125CAD or ~$95 USD. Now let's use that as a price point - the GB-er should come in around that or a little bit less for domestic UPS Freight of these things.

Not trying to blow up anyone's spot but he priced it at 290.95CAD which is $220 USD...GB-er is saying $230 (full disclosure he probably deserves making $10 off each transaction for the work).

Forgot to think about GB having to get said shipment of all of the cargo mats to their doorstep - probably where the pricing discrepancy is coming from. My bad.

Oof. Although I love the look and functionality of the mat, I can’t justify paying over $300 for it :(

Are there any other alternatives that function the same as that OEM mat? I love the 40/60 split upper portion

you would probably end up at $230 with the GB...I'd grab this around at that price. I'm always grabbing peat moss/topsoil bags, or other crap that would benefit from this in the cargo area.

Looks really durable and of course the cool factor is there with it being a Canadian only part. Probably the "best" option imo for a large breed dog that can get dirty and wet in a hurry when you take him out with you.
But yea its a lot $$$. Will have to think about it some more. Maybe it'll show up on www.ebay.ca at blow out prices soon! Lol

I just wrote to WeatherTech regarding this thread and asked if the company has the interest to produce this product we all want. I have no clue if the company cares about this kind of customers' inquiry or email. Anyway it never hurt to try.

May be if the company receives more inquiries like this they may eventually produce it.........

This is a solid idea - and if they do come out with something similar for a lot cheaper than screw the TELLURIDE badging on the Canadian one...ha! Although I must say - it looks very sexy.

I highly doubt WeatherTech will make anything that's cheap, I just know the products will be more readily available online or at local auto accessories stores.....

Meaning cheaper than ~$330 shipped to your door from Canada...

I do believe so yea. Probably every bit of $400 if it ever comes to market. Weathertech makes great products but its at a premium cost.
Just checked other WT cargo liners and I guess depending on which vehicle some range up to $299 for a cargo tray and rear bumper flap.

Well then damn I agree - a 60/40 split out of WT will definitely be at least $400...Makes the ~$320 for the OEM comforting...

Did the group buy ever go down guys?

So after reaching out to a half a dozen dealerships in Canada... a parts guy at Toronto Kia was able to order one of these for me & ship to Illinois. Pricing was $275 CAD for the liner, (an obscene) $300 CAD for FedEx shipping & about $75 CAD for tax. All in all it worked out to about $510 USD after factoring in the exchange rate.

Certainly not an economical choice--but given that there's really nothing else like this on the market--and because have one carseat installed in the back row--the back row ends up halfway folded down most of the time--so having some all-weather protection combined with the ability to fold down part of that 60/40 back row made the high cost of shipping worth it for me.

But--yeah--$300CAD to ship is crazy (the item arrived in 2 business days). If the border wasn't closed for COVID, I would have been tempted to make a weekend trip up to Detroit/Windsor to cross the border & pick one up in person.

As for the liner itself--it's pretty nice. It's a bit softer than what I expected (i.e., it's softer than Smartliner, Weathertech products, etc.). It's almost feels like a blend of foam and rubber--think halfway between a rubber basketball & a nerf ball--but it doesn't seem so soft that it would tear easily. The back of the liner has a rough rubber/fabriclike feel to it (akin to the back of a normal carpeted floor mat). It came folded over in a 2' x 4' x 4" box--which left a crease mark in the middle of the liner (hopefully it evens out eventually).

The back has a few velcro tabs on it--which velcro the edges of the liner to the carpet on the back of the seats & in the flat cargo area. The velcro seems pretty light duty & not too sticky--so it doesn't feel like it's going to do much damage to the carpet on the seats/cargo area. It also has straps that loop around the headrests in the 3rd row to keep it in place. Fit is pretty good--but It doesn't quite lay flat when folded down--as there's some extra material in the transition crease between the seatback & the flat cargo area (you can see in the pictures that a few inches of material folds up accordion-style when the seats are in the up position).

So--all in all--I'm pretty happy. Not cheap, but it's what I wanted & I feel like it's good protection for my new Telly.

Kind of crazy that nobody makes these for the U.S. market--seems like there'd be plenty of demand for it.

Thank you for the detailed post!

Makes my quoted price a steal of $330 to my door from a Canadian dealer.

Has anything spilled on it? Any dirt or garden materials? Basically wondering if it's passed the sniff test yet.
