$58.6K SX?

OMG the Telly market is nuts! I just saw and SX AWD Prestige for nearly 59K with an MSRP of 48.3! I like this SUV, but it's really only worth about 40K fully loaded. It's going to be a year plus before this market settles out.

When it everyone is telling everyone that the market will not settle out for a year, they have no reason to bring down the prices. They are just giving you what you expect. Some people here are saying you can not get the SX AWD Prestige package until august, do you not think that reflex in that price? They are just pricing what they think the market will support. They need to listed here as bad dealers so they can be avoided later.

In the real world, the SX with prestige will be mostly available by July. Any talk other wise is just going to keep those people that are going to do the mark up, continuing to do the market ups.

It’s funny that people are paying those prices saying it’s kia it’s reliable it’s 100k warranty. I’ll never buy German and swear by Kia, and it’s just a car like any other, still trying to prove itself. I guess a lot of ppl have a lot of disposable income..

That price is nothing more than an offer to sell. In no way does it mean someone will pay it.

Someone who knows nothing about cars, goes to take a look at an X7, $100k. Then hears about the Tellmeride, goes to take a look, see that they have practically the same amount of amenities and tech... for $40k less.

If that happens, good for the dealer. While I am one of them, I just don't see many other BMW customers shopping the Kia too.

You guys are crazy I”m waiting for my sx limited to come in there isn’t any in Canada and compare the sx with its features against any other full size suv in its class and the price is way cheaper I’m paying 54000 before tax and got a years worth of service for free

The dealer that I got my SX from had a $4K “addendum” pricing premium. Told them no and worked out a grand under sticker with some extra throw ins and discounts on the care package with the paint treatment and extended warranty and wheel/tire coverage . I put $20K down and just used Kia financing and got another $1,500 credit. Being so new and hard to find... only one other SX anywhere near me at the time... so I was fine enough with what I got. I’m sure however there are people who may negotiate a bit off the premium and still think they got a good deal.

Just got an EX today as there are no SXs available anywhere in my area (SF Bay Area). I initially went to one dealer that had a $3K premium over sticker. I told them I would put 20k down and I would pay sticker but not the 3k premium.....they let me walk! Ended up at another dealer w/o a "premium" charge and got the last on the lot.

Think about KIA. Been looking at Subaru’s around here and non of the dealers have markups like this and all are selling close to invoice and stock is plentiful.

He tried using the line, "no one has them in the tri-state area" line. Yeah, I just did some other research and found when some were being delivered. I called a bunch up and found one that hadn't been an order or sold yet. I so badly wanted to call this dealer back and told him I found one. For $22k less than they're asking.

The guy must've been smoking crack.

Keep in mind the kia website calculator only factors in vehicle msrp. It does not account for state tax (PA is 6%), dealer fees, tag and title fee's, or anything else he added on. So whatever the price on kia.com is add a few thousand on top of that.
