Anybody Fired Up About Wolf Grey?

Really wish they offered WG with Duner brown interior. Or at the very least, an option to have the black headliner w/black seats. That's the main reason I didnt go with it.

Accepted order for Wolf Gray SX-P here, dealer has said they expect November delivery but could be December.

I’ll be happy if I get it before May.

Can’t wait until people start getting them and we can see more pics! Looks like a stunning color.

According to the color chart posted on the forum, Wolf Grey is only available with a Black leather interior and Nightfall on EX or SX trims.

New 2021 Colors

Hi, First time post here as I've had a deposit placed for months and have been waiting for the 2021's. It appears that the 2021's are now listed on the KIA website. I thought I remember screen shots listed on here for the 2021's that listed Sangria was available with Gray Leather Napa...

I did not... black Nappa and Nightfall required, and the dealer said they expected only production for SX Prestige in Gray Wolf at first... EX would come in 2021. Production on the first SX Gray Wolf starting next month.

Again, a dealer so who knows if the info is correct.

For sure - and we ordered ours the same: SX-P, Nightfall, Black interior, ETA Feb 2021. I'm just holding out hope they open it up to more colors at some point and would happily wait longer / go to the back of the again if needed. Thanks.

I put a deposit down on an NE EX wolf gray that the dealer said they were expecting to receive 11/24. Fingers crossed it comes sooner! From all the pics I have seen none look like the wolf gray that is on the K5. The build page on Kia's site also makes it look a little weird. I find it strange that with this being the new exciting color for 2021 that Kia didn't use it in any of the promotional videos or pictures. Wonder if they plan on putting out another wave of marketing materials once they go into production or something.

Yea I for sure thought KIA would've advertised it by now especially the way they've been shoving the NE down dealer throats this summer instead of "sold" customer orders. Wolf gray IS the official color for the NE Telluride so why haven't we seen it yet? A lil odd for sure

Maybe Kia is getting some blowback on how difficult it is to even get the models that are already being produced? I notice on the Kia commercials, they barely show the Telluride and really spotlight all the other models. Only thing I can think of is, they don't want or need to generate any more hype considering the trouble meeting current production demands.

I don't know....I saw a Telluride Nightfall commercial during the NHL Playoffs tonight. The marketing and hype continues.

Can I ask you how much the MSRP is for this configuration as it is the one I want to order as well.

Wolf gray was noted to be a September 2020 "start of production."

Take into account that Glacial white pearl was noted to be an August 2020 start of production. It is now August 28, and so far zero GWP models have been produced. Don't get too anxious for them to show up, it'll probably be a bit.

Thank you! I was gonna do the Black Copper SXP but once I saw the wolf gray nightfall, it was an easy upsell haha.

Here are the 6 I chose. These are my educated guesses as to the most "difficult" to install, or things you'd want finished before the local Kia puts their hands on it:

• Interior Light Kit, Multicolored
  • Still don't know if this refers to the cupholder/floorboard multi-colored lights or just the thin LED wire on the doors. We'll see.
• Illuminated Scuff Plates
• Front Alloy Skid Plate
• Towing Package
• Cross Bars
• Side Step Bars

Upon delivery, we'll be asking to install these things:

• Cargo Seatback Up Mat
• Cargo Tray, Folding
  • I assume you can "stack" these, only busting out the all-weather looking folding mat when all the seats are down.
• Mud Guard Kit (front and rear)
• Rear Bumper Protector
• All Weather Floor Mats
• Wheel Locks
• Glove, Smart Key Fob

The $500 deposit is non-refundable. It's a lot of money, but A) that's what it costs to be on "the list" for this ultra-high-demand car, and B) if something bad happens and we have to back out, we still have until February to make that decision, and "losing" the $500 is worth getting off the hook for a 72-month note, no questions asked. Not unlike being out $500 the inspection of a new house you don't end up buying. Just the cost of doing business.

I just posted this to the "what'd you pay for your Kia" thread, but we're likely slightly above MSRP. Considering we basically went all out on this car - sparing no expense except the overpriced rear seat entertainment package ($1500) - plus around $4K for TT&L, the "out the door" price will be right around $60K. It's a lot, but to quote the dealer: "Everyone's gotta feed their family", which we understand.

We plan to have this car 10+ years, visit every national park etc. with our growing family (6-week-old firstborn and any other babies after). We were made for this Telluride.

Expecting radio silence from the dealership for the rest of 2020 so just waiting it out until then, but if you have any more questions I'll try to answer!

I just ordered a Dark Moss SX with Nightfall & Prestige, and faced the same “limitations” on the number of factory add-ons. Your post about the items “most difficult” to install was a big help to me, in terms of deciding what to order from the factory and which to just let the dealer do later.

Oh ok, thanks for the clarification. All the official Kia documentation says “Wolf Gray, available in September 2020” so I assumed that meant “customers could take delivery in September” not “we might make a few cars before the end of September.”

I'm thinking the wolf grey may be my color with Nightfall.... anyone have an idea if you can even order the Wolf Grey before September? If I order now, it probably will not get into production until then anyway, but would like to get it ordered.....

My husband and I put our deposit in on a Wolf Grey SX two weeks ago. Happy to be one small step closer to that gorgeous ride!

Not sure if this was posted yet (I did a quick search and didn't see it), but here's a really good look at the Wolf Gray color (on a K5) outdoors with blacked-out trim and grill (like Nightfall).

It gives a good idea of what the color really looks like!
