Yes, I really like the way the SX 20s look, but the EX-P 20s are a little to blingy for me. I think if I got some I would have to paint them black. I am actually looking forward to getting some slightly wider black 20s in the future...and using the 18s for winter tires.

Help me understand the thought behind switching away from black rims in winter. Never had them on a car, and can’t tell if it’s because they’re more prone to scratches or something else, but I hear a lot of people here saying they’d switch them in winter.

There's probably some desire to protect black wheels from road salts and additional scratches during the winter. Any wheel can get scratched but the black wheels probably show more scratches.
The tires for 18" wheels are generally cheaper than 20s so switching to snow tires is more cost effective in the 18" size. 18" wheels are usually cheaper too if you're looking for an extra set of wheels so an 18" wheel and tire combo for winter is more economical than 20s.

One day a couple weeks ago I saw 4 Telly's in a 4 mile stretch on a local road by my house. One was a white SX just like mine. I see 2 other white EX's in my neighborhood. So pretty popular here in Orlando.

Seem to be seeing a lot of Nightfall Editions here lately. Guess KIA is getting their money's worth with the new package instead of filling customer orders.
Saw a white one Thursday and a black one today both on the same road, Rt. 70 Garner NC.

I went into the dealer in Feb to order the S trim, I didn't realize the brake lights were different.

Well, they had an S trim as a demo at the time. I drove it, it answered a few of my questions and I figured, yep, this will work. So, I drop it off by the front door and another person jumps in it to test drive. I'm thinking, "You're a sexy little car aren't you, I'm gonna watch you leave." Then I saw the brake lights. Woof. I then watch them pull out of the parking lot and the blinker comes on. "Sweet mother... that's terrible."

Long story short, I spent about two minutes on my phone before I went in and yada yada yada, I ordered an EX-P.

I am glad you are getting what you want with no surprises. Yes, the blinkers in the bumpers are horrible. It’s so weird what car manufacturers will cheap out on to save a few bucks.

I would like to know if the black wheels are painted or powder coated. Powder coated wheels would hold up better during winter or if they are painted have them ceramic coated to protect them from winter salt.
