ETA are moved almost on a weekly bases.

Dealer told me it was in transit. He mentioned railway issues for the delay. This was for an incoming SX-P and not custom order that we placed a deposit on late April. The ETA has been getting pushed back almost weekly. It is going to PA.

I received a surprise, but most welcomed call from Hilltop Kia this afternoon saying they received ~15 SX allocations and that my order has been picked up! Initial ETA of 10/22!

KFOS entry in September and an October ETA? I am happy for you...but WTH...my SXP has a KFOS entry of July and My ETA is in October as well.

Oh wait...yours is a Nightfall...so they get built first.

Thank you! I hear your frustration. Luckily for me, I was already planning to do some of the Nightfall mods so it became an easy choice to play Kia’s Nightfall game

Just got a text from my sales person, and my ETA has finally went in the right direction: BACKWARDS ETA to Rochester, NY went from 9/22 to IN TRANSIT 9/18 so she's finally on her way. I need to book a flight so I'm wondering if anybody thinks 9/19 should be safe enough as that gives 10 days of transit time from GA to Northern NY.

Dealer may need time to prep it and sometimes it is dropped at a central location for the dealer group. You may want to give them more than a day from the estimated time of arrival.

FINALLY got an ETA of 10/22. We never got indications of KFOS or even a VIN. The estimation of 4-5 months we received is holding true (a bit ahead of schedule).

I'll answer your questions two ways based upon my experience and the current environment.
1)No - I went through the same as you. The date kept changing. It actually came in earlier (pre Covid) so I would have been fine. But there are others who would have been hosed
2) Yes -Many airlines are currently waiving change and cancellation fees. If your airline is one of those, then go ahead and book.

Congratulations, that’s awesome news! I received similar news yesterday and looks like we have the same build specs. Wonder if there’s more to it than just pushing Nightfalls

we've got an order in with Muncie, and using the Costco discount saves a $1000 off MSRP, they have a $199 doc fee, and offer the veterans $400 discount We ordered the SX AWD with tow if that helps

Sounds about right, I think it may vary a little based on model. I think it was around $1300 for SX-P

Does anyone have any idea what is happening with transportation issues? We have had a rolling ETA on our incoming (VIN showed up on failcat early August/Aug 22nd first delivery estimate date) SX-P in PA. We were just told October 10th as of now :/ Baby is due October.

We got our VIN on Aug 11 and we just picked up the Telly this past Saturday. According to the dealer, it was sitting at the plant waiting to ship for about 3 weeks. They couldn't say what was causing the shipping delay. Once it was on the truck, it took about 3 days to have it ready at the dealer.

Now, I was told Nov 15 ETA for SX-P/T but no VIN yet.
