So I got word Friday that my Telluride is on the truck on it’s way to Muncie. It’s finally getting real! Should be at the dealer in a day or two! Good start to the weekend.

Can someone explain to me how a car with a newer vin number same exact as my car is now available at the dealer in MI while im still waiting on mine? Mine is from another bigger dealer in MI. My vin was created 8/11 the other car is 8/18. How does this make sense? @StephenCantrelle would you know how could this happen?

the way the stars align? The transient driver drove faster? Who knows lol. Your vehicle is in transit and you’ll have it in a week. Is it that big of a deal?

It’s just f&$%ing annoying seeing everyone else getting their cars without orders or in a short period of time while im still waiting from 2019. I think the only other person from 2019 was @akdoh and he got his car last week.

I think it's just EXP vs SXP. It's all SXP people who have been waiting the longest.
My second wait was a roller coaster ride though.

It's nice to have a vin. For me, when I get to that stage, there's some comfort in knowing that it exists and it's just a matter of time. No checking Failcat all the time, analyzing what they're building and wondering why you don't see this or that. Then it really is a crapshoot. We've seen weeks long delays and some come early.

It is kind of annoying to wait for months and people are out there tripping over dealer inventory and falling into cars, that's lucky. But, I figure we're getting exactly what we want this way and I'm sure the wait will make it that much sweeter.

Looks like the other member's order is a Nightfall and the forum has already identified NE as being produced and delivered faster than non-NE, especially when it comes to Prestige. Your order is already in transit and due for delivery in 10 days - sitting back and relaxing might be advisable since the hardest part is over and long gone

For anyone experiencing any kind of annoyance or frustration with their order, might I suggest watching this video of funny doggos

I placed my order on 11-13-19. I changed my order in March, so that is why it’s taking longer. I started looking at this forum in February of 2019, and I have been wanting to buy a Telluride since then, but I had to play all the mind games with the local dealers until I finally realized I had to order from out of state.
So you can Chill Out, you aren’t the only one. But if you could please take one for the team and BURN your Telly when it arrives like you said you would, this would make it all worthwhile!

I think it all depends on the dealership you order from. I ordered from a dealership in June and I’m still 30th from the front of the line. I ordered one from a dealership in IA in early August and it’s here on the 10 th of Oct.
