Yeah - I totally get it. Many love it and more power to you! I would be thrilled to have my order filled faster than others. Not your fault at all! Actually - I have asked my dealer to swap out the badges on my SXP at the dealer for the Nightfall Badges. Love them.

Kia has been running a massive marketing campaign for Nightfall Tellurides during the NBA Playoffs.

I'm guessing this is a big reason why they are prioritizing the NF builds ahead of us.

Kia spends more money marketing with the NBA than any other place, I am hoping this nightfall push is targeted and will conclude when the finals are over. Their production people need to catch up to the demand created by marketing/product development

My ETA moved back another week. It's now just shy of a month later than originally estimated. At this point I'm wondering if ordering the same color combination with Nightfall will still be built and arrive quicker than the one I originally ordered in July.

You should let your dealer know to contact you if they receive an allocation of yours with NF. I really think they're building these exact models we have on order but with NF added in the hopes we'll just take them at the higher cost as we're tired of waiting.

I saw on failcat that my dealer has a SXP Nightfall with the same color combination coming in but they said it's claimed and they don't expect it to fall through. But at least they know I'm interested if for some reason it does end up becoming available. Too bad my wife is pretty set on the color combination otherwise I would be looking around for more options.

Well you still have a pretty decent lead on me. It might be a race to the finish line.

We (my wife and I) will probably hold out for it as long as I'm working from home, even if it gets pushed beyond November. Although we've been down to one car while we wait, it hasn't been bad. But she's not going to like hitchhiking to work once I ask for the keys back to my car. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that though.

Haha! I have no issue with other trims being produced before mine. SX models are running a different queue and your order line was open before the Nightfall fiasco. It is just the Prestige situation that gets me all upset. Thankfully SX production has remained relatively constant.

I have thought the same thing. I was really hoping I would get mine before Wolf Gray went into production....but that didn't happen.

significant is subjective without figures. 100? 500? 1,000? 10,000?
The entire point is that whatever the figure is, it would most likely be able to be prioritized and knocked out at the factory without some Herculean effort on their part. I’m on your side.

Holding out hope for you. I know that it's not an SXP and maybe not the norm, but my dealer got mine 10 days after they sent me the VIN, 8 days after Failcat showed it.
