So question on black copper...when i filter failcat to sx awd with p/n (prestige with nightfall) and dune brown...are there truly only 5 that have ever been built? Seems like a very low amount. And none since early July? Thank you for any responses!

Picked this up yesterday 2021 Black Copper SX Prestige. I didn’t wait for it was called and told a deal didn’t go through and it was mine if I wanted it MSRP + sales tax lucky boy I tell you! It’s an eye catcher that’s for sure. Also had a ceramic coat applied this morning. View attachment 9655

That's exactly how I got mine. I just decided to get a Telluride one day and made a call to local dealership. They said a deal just fell through because original buyer had orders through multiple dealerships. They had some people on the way to check it out and didn't expect I would be able to buy it. Convinced them to let me do a deposit over the phone (they didn't want to initially) and then strolled in an hour later to buy.

I am between 2-4 days away now from seeing it in person (Dealer confirmed I will have the first Black Copper of any trim in my city of 1,000,000+ (Calgary Alberta, Canada, no 2020's had that color in Canada))... might be at dealer tomorrow, then a day or 2 for hitch install prep... then mine...

I can see the Black Copper light at the end of the tunnel...

It was confirmed in another thread that indeed what you have is a rare bird! Only 5 black copper nightfall dune browns so far. All built early July.

Pickup at Luther went great. Thanks @Mweiland! Long ride home was long but awesome. Car delivers as promised but boy, it does get dirty so PPF/Ceramic in the plans the next couple weeks. Second road trip this weekend so it certainly getting an early test.

So....after almost 1 year of ownership, I'm still amazed by the "black copper color".....I still like the early definitions of "root beer" and I still keep trying to get a good pic....here is today's latest and i THINK it really does show the "copper effect" in the black! Yes it does look "grainy" but that was because I focused in so close....an amazing color and it all depends upon the light!

I got my Telly today from Ed Voyles in Chamblee GA, they were great to work with and I got mine in just over a month since ordering in August.
It's cloudy out today but still looks amazing!

I like it a lot! I like anything that makes car stand out from the rest. Still waiting for my Black Copper/Dune SX-P ordered in December last year! ETA is 11/15.

That's a pretty true representation in a photograph. Mine is expected 11/15, so you are getting me excited about my order. Been a long time coming. Ordered 12/10/19! So glad I ordered Back Cooper.
