I finally picked up my baby girl "Kea" named after the volcano in Hawaii on Sunday. After a 7hr drive home she got a bath yesterday to remove the million bugs I collected along the way. She handled like a dream all the way home and now she's ready for more adventures. The wait may be long but it's worth it.

Congrats!! I have the same order just Dune brown interior instead. Our vin creation dates and etas are almost the same. Mine still didnt get there yet!

Lol and I see you got the cross bars and you took them off! Mine as well is coming with bars although i didnt order them. Taking them off as well.

Yup that was the first thing I did when I got her home, they were part of the order I took over. I may use them at some point but not daily that's for sure.

Snow White Pearl, I love the color had an Optima in the same color. Although I am curious to see a GWP in person and compare.

I just heard my ETA is 10/27. I'm guessing, based on other posts here, I shouldn't put too much faith in that date. I'm just hoping I get it before the end of November.

Are dealers giving any details as to why these SXP non nightfall orders keep getting pushed back? I'm still in line at my dealer behind a few other SX's so not getting any insight.

Kia is prioritizing new colors and packages, no other explanation!

It would be interesting to know how many orders are still pending from last last year or early this year. Those seem to be finally shrinking. If your order was placed in August - I would still expect you to get yours by the end of the year if you make KFOS next month. If I get mine next month (ETA is still holding) then my KFOS to delivery will be 90 days...discounting the fact that I actually ordered it in January... Three months KFOS to delivery with the low production rates is actually not bad considering how low the production is. If KIA hadn't been prioritizing NFP trims - all the old SXP orders would have been filled by now.

At this point I don't care anymore. I found out that Xanax is really helpful with the telluride situation
He called me right after, I was like Im coming. He said no no your car is not there! Then he mentioned that they should be receiving 5 trucks today. So we’ll see.

I ordered mine from a high volume dealership, was originally quoted 4-6 months, it will be less than 3 by the time I get it. We (members on this forum) are seeing plenty of non Nightfall orders taking 11 months or longer, but since you are going Nightfall prestige, I would say 3-5 months would be accurate, depending on how many allocations your dealership averages. The only 11-month wait on a Nightfall I could see happening is over at Muncie, just because they sell under MSRP with Costco pricing and have a long line over there. Which dealership are you looking to place an order at? Just make sure they haven't popped up in the bad dealer thread.
